[bgcolor=black]I rather enjoy this thread, also you two keep it on topic. >_>
*shakes fist*
Xeel: -When I first made her it was on the premise of 'simplicity'.
-Because of this I've had to forgo hilariously brutal ideas to keep it like that. I think I'm doing an alright job given the number of attacks she has to have in order to stay fresh in a battle.
-Whenever I do a battle post with her in HM it takes about 10 minutes because of all the 25's I have to add up. Back in her debut battle (Where her object skill's damage boost was 15%) it took well over half an hour just to do her attacks math.
-I have a playlist dedicated just to making posts with her. Yeah what of it.
Jax: -The first part of my plot with Jax was realized sometime two years ago when he obtained panel master (I briefly nudged it in story, seeing as it happened during the 5 year gap). Which was the program he and his guard brethren was tasked with defending. The next part is having issues mostly because I'm unsure of how to RP the other pieces given the state of things. :p
-Jax does not have a playlist of his own. </3

(moves off topic for a moment again)
It is possible to have humans in teh internets. via lost technology a la pulse transmission (cossak did it in BN3, well a lot of people did it in BN3) but they wouldn't retain any powers (eg: the ability to control keys as weapons, magic, anything like that) they had in the real world sides from combat prowess
Back on topic:
General Navi facts
I use the same color for Ruin and Phenoix only partially out of being lazy. Back in the eternal endgame when Phenoix lost his arm, his text color changed to gray from red, to symbolize a growth of sorts. Ruin however changed to gray from lime green upon his transformation from Guitarman (more on that later).
In total I have controlled... *counts* 9 navis. 10 if you count guitar and ruin being different. (might be more)
Last time I did one of these was back in 4.5, I may recycle some of those facts.
Alright, On to specific navi facts:
Phenoix:
Recycled from old post but still relevant:
Phenoix did not always have wings
Phenoix.EXE as well as my name was created in an attempt to spell Phoenix but did not work due to my bad spelling.
Phenoix is one of the first navis to begin to take a non-violent stance towards peace in the net [to my knowledge]
Phenoix is one of the few navis to have jumped 9 Versions in a few weeks without battling, and the only one to do it while sitting in a corner instory.
New Stuff (in no particular order):
During the Eternal Endgame, Phenoix developed the ability to draw his right arm into a blade, losing his arm in the process. This ability was inspired by the anime and Manga "D. Gray-Man" --During the final battle with Eon, and subsequently Forte, the blade in question was broken. This being the reason Phenoix no longer possesses a Right arm.
During a battle with Armored Destroyer alongside Genesis, Phenoix was put into a critical state. His body faded and joined with that of Genesis, providing an advanced form (similar to Double Soul) as well as healing him. The aftermath of the battle left each navi with something. A golden fringe on Genesis's cloak, and a small crimson cloth that falls over Phenoix's missing arm.
Phenoix currently Lacks hardset ideals, due to large amounts of conflicting issues and realizations.
Stat wise, Phenoix is planned to be the most powerful self healer, with values far exceeding 5000 HP healing per turn. It is for this reason he will likely end up with an alternate form of deletion by way of a turn limit.
Phenoix's first Instory interaction was with Genesis.exe, this is in part a reason for a long-standing friendship, though they go about issues differently.
Despite his possibly commanding appearance, Phenoix is often more willing to follow than to lead.
Ruin:
Ruin was for a large part of 4.5, an entirely different navi named Guitarman, based largely off of Devil May Cry and FLCL using a guitar as a weapon.
Guitarman's origins stood as a creature formed of remnants left behind by various navis. In a sense he could be considered an embodiment of the elements. Though with a high concentration of darkness giving him form.
Despite being a dark navi, Guitarman did not like to participate in combat as much. Partially fearing his own weakness and partially just wanting to not get involved.
After a specific event instory during the Eternal Endgame, Guitarman along with other navis were granted the power of nightmare, giving them large story boosts in order to wreak havoc. That power was quickly supressed within him though by the act of Phenoix.exe. Over time that power began to break its binds before finally, in the climax of the Eternal Endgame, it broke free, devouring Guitarman in mind and body, giving birth to the navi you all know and love, Ruin.EXE.
Though initially using an axe, Ruin no longer uses it as his primary weapon, opting for hand-to-hand combat to better utilize his overpowering strength.
Ruin's main form of transportation is that of breaking net-reality and transporting himself from one place to another. This ability has been steadily decreasing in accuracy as he uses it however.
Ruin is the only navi who has the ability to fuse Darkchips, creating new, powerful attacks.
After having his leg ripped from his body by Terra, Ruin was able to grow a new leg by undergoing fundamental program changes in his appearance. His old leg turned into a cane that he uses from time to time for various purposes. The cane, despite its size, still holds Ruin's strength, thus making it virtually indestructible.
Aaaaand thats all I feel like doing right now.

Joe Squads: These lovely characters are practically automated, and any conversation they have with superiors is generally from their on-par observation skills. Additionally, anything short of the Regal Siege Joe isn't a massive threat, as they are basically O.N.B security and scouts. While in battle there are only 3 joes per squad, they are actually innumerable within the O.N.B as they are mass-produced.
GeminiMan: I still have no idea what to make his allegiance in this story, so he's been kinda neglected until I can figure out how he'd work.
Embera: Ohmahgewdness! She had Karma Manipulator! While I initially intended this witch to have Specialist or Programming Expert, I noted that, due to her fluctuating allegiance, opting to side with whoever she deemed more interesting or "fun", kinda forsook karmic allegiances. It wasn't until after it was granted to her, that I realized that I had no real stat-plans for KM, until AFTER meeting Saint.EXE. Additionally, since meeting ColdMan, she has two items from him, the Cold Crest, and the WAFFLE CHICKEN!, this means that she one of the few navis to have more than 3 crest slots, and the only navi to naturally have two Giga Programs.
Yggdrasil: Since Toxin plans on bringing Coda back, I intend on making and incorporating him so that they gain boosts from each other on an almost specific pairing. While he may be usable by any ally, really, only Coda will be 100% effective with him.

Merrill has prolly participated in the most simultanious battles going on at once in the MMM, the record being 10 battles or so going on.
*Created the first offical Z making navi that was labled a money maker back in V 4.0 with Cypher who made well over 2.4X regular Z at once.
MOAR TO COME

Actually, Kazu had you beat on the zenny account in 3.5 (or earlier, I'm pretty sure). Simultaneous battles I can't speak to, because I don't pay attention. -Ever wonder why he's so fast? Toxin's own illnesses are a ruse. He's mostly a carrier. -According to the ONB License system, M doesn't have an operator anymore. -Rain literally cannot exist without Karma Manipulator, because the Crest of Nebula and the Mark of Duo can't be removed except in story under special circumstances (or unless the placement allows for it). -On that note: Long ago, Toxin got the Mark of Duo on his hand to represent his position in defending the net against the Scions+Eon. He cut his hand off. (For those who can see it, he received it here and removed it here.)

Opera Banned is back, and she's me! Just as a reminder, when I mention Opera, I mean the Opera in-story, who's not technically me for reasons I'm not going to get in to. First person pronouns may refer to the both of us, or just me. It's kind of confusing, but English isn't built to handle situations like this. Anyway, on to the facts!
Data Recovery was created when my user realized just how little the passive regen skill healed, and decided to come up with a way to get more healing. The ability to actively rebuild herself with coding expertise is something she should probably be able to do anyway, just from a story standpoint.
Why yes, Opera can decide to look like another Navi with her manual form selection. However, she can't change her eyes as she basically is her eyes, and that sentence is really weird from a grammar standpoint. I seem to have gone on a tangent, although it's probably closer to a normal. Math geekery is kind of expected from a sentient computer program, but I'll stop now.
I've probably appeared more often on these boards outside of the RP than any other Navi, although admittedly that's not hard to do because it's normally frowned upon. I'm actually not sure if I'm a special case, or if it's the whole not-actually-the-same-entity thing.
I'm considering redoing the whole fluff portion of Opera's stats. As in, I, Opera Banned, writing the whole non-stats area in-character. Since Coda's attack descriptions are in first-person perspective, I figure it's not too out of line. Anyone else want to see that?

-Xeel-
Xeel's kunai, dagger, and grenade type weaponry is a 'new' addition. She stole them off people she's either assassinated or robbed since coming to 'this' net.
Given that, her original weapon, aside just blasting electricity everywhere was an old style western Revolver. She always had a small satchel with actual ammo but the gun mostly fired electric bullets Xeel would make(the gun condensed the energy into a solid so it packed a super huge punch, the process took less than a second) on the spot.
Despite hating sand and deserts with a passion, she still has a softspot for Cowboys.
-Gush-
Still doesn't have stats, but I have about 4-5 concepts I've thought up and wrote down.
-Strikeman-
Is in NetBahamas chillaxing like a boss. He's still with the ONB, he's just on vacation. If his fantastical powers are needed once more she could be persuaded to come back early.

Unlike Toxin, Corrosion's illnesses are very real. His data is severely damaged from darkchips. The reason? They don't taint his spirit like most other navis. Since he can't succumb to the actual darkness within the chips, the glitches from them are much more severe on him. He even has and has used an Advanced chip or two despite his lack of pure evil with almost severe repercussions, as evidenced by the cracks in his skull.
He's actually my very first navi, and his name isn't even Corrosion, but there's only one way he'll reveal that to the newbies.

Yet more facts, this time from me, the user, rather than my terminally insane character. I'll just edit them into this post from now on, rather than bumping this repeatedly.
This one's actually about her new virus: I was having a bit of trouble coming up with a name for my new Cloudy, when my brain, ever willing to help (that's actually sarcasm, but it seems to have actually been helping this time) responded with: "It's like RAAAAAAAAAIN on your wedding day." And thus, I became the first person other than the player characters in Kingdom of Loathing to actually gain something from having a song stuck in their head.
Opera Banned means that, in the event the afterlife exists, I don't get to go to it. Instead, I cease to exist, which in case you've forgotten Opera's story, means I get to chum with her while entirely outside eternity. In the event that I actually make the series involving Area Negative Zero, my will shall actually state that whoever inherits the series has to put my immortal soul in as a character, since that'd be canonically where it went to.

If we're bringing this back, I'd say I could give it a try!
Aluminum: -I consider this little guy to be myself as a navi, or at least how I perceive myself/want to be. His becoming a cop and dream to join the ONB? Happened when in real life I expressed interest into joining the FBI. His overtly social personality? Yeah, I love to try to crack a joke at nearly every opportunity.
Namkcab: -I'm still thinking of bringing Namk back, but with a major change in-story. As I've lost the appeal to speak backwards, I'm feeling pretty lazy and am considering having a custom/mini story involving someone (Kyle or Churro) working on a program to fix his speech impediment to allow him to speak properly. Who knows. I may or may not carry through with it.
Carbon: My "new generation" of sorts. I didn't even notice this, but Aluminum was my first navi. I've always considered Carbon to be in my second era of navis, the first one. Both are named after elements in the periodic table.

Ummm, hello everyone ^^! So, I'm just going to publish a few facts about Phoebe and Orion. I hope you all don't mind and thought it would be nice to gain some insight into their creation, names, and personality. Hope you don't mind ^^!!! Phoebe: Back in Ancient Greece, there were Olympian Gods which was the generation under Zeus' rule with multiple Gods and Goddesses (Athena, Apollo, Hera, Aphrodite, Artemis ect.), however, prior to the Olympian Gods were the 12 Titans (6 men and 6 women) who actually were the parents of the Olympian God generation. One of the Titans was known as Phoebe and she was believed to be the Originator of Light. Her name means "Shining Light" and she was exactly that (also means "to purify"). As time (and culture) moved on, she was more associated with the moon (due to feminine qualities believed to be held with the moon). She still was the essence of "Light" despite this. She was the one who gave birth to Apollo and Artemis (God and Goddess of the Sun and Moon) and Asteria (a Star Goddess). Little is known about her personality, but it is believed she was extremely kind, loving and caring to all. That is part of the reason I am so adamant and hopeful in Phoebe obtaining Lunar and Pure Light. Because both reflect her character so well and is essentially a part of who she is. Orion: The name is from Ancient Greece also and is a star constellation in the sky (in association with his meteorite powers from the universe/space above). There are conflicting stories out there as to who he is, however the reason I chose the name was that it is a star constellation and that it resembled the Virus' powers in the stars by meteors. Hope you all enjoyed it ^^!

Out of Character THREAD NECRO!
-Slypner- *His key skill(Aquatic Split) is actually an amalgamation of Tehsals passing comment, my inspiration, and V's refinement.
*Aforementioned skill may be the star of his set up, but it only added to an already interesting character I was concepting. The stars really aligned on this one.
*Even still his apathetic personality, despite having a huge reason, is super cliche and I hate it.
*Is attack type for backstory reasons only. If I had built his story around his stats he would have been Support.
-Baraxlis- *Has never been stat approved but has done 3 battles! ha-HAAAA!
*Is being created almost entirely by his mechanics and not his backstory. It's caused me a few problems.
*Despite being a v1, his over all "power" exceeds most of my other navis. For example he and Iria were to fight I almost positive Barry would win.
-Xeel- *She's still totally going to blow up the net.
-Iria- *She's intel type at the moment. Funny right? Part of one of her skills actually renames it to 'combat specialist'.
-AD- *He's not getting out of jail Raven. Just sayin'.
