Along with player controlled Navis, players are likely to meet not player controlled Navis or NPCs in-story. The power behind these Navis will be listed in their topics on this board, but they are frequently labeled in ways that are different from PC Navis.
N.P.C.
the basic "Not Player Controled" Navi. Navis under this headder are classed in multiple ways; small virii, normal/heel Navis, programs, some Capcom/custom Navis, etc. They can be help or hindrance, and normaly are there to move story along or just for fun. Some players make their own NPCs or Navis who don't yet have stats. While not recomended, this is allowed.
Examples: Normal Navi, Bob the Joe.
Navi Version
Navis with versions labeled in their stats are the equivalent of a PC Navi of that version. The catch is that they can be versioned above what is obtainable by PC Navis.
Examples: FreezeMan
Sub-Bosses
Sub-Bosses rank nearly as powerful as full bosses but lack some of the power. This is the class most often given to admin hyper modes and Navis who have earned enhanced powers in-story.
Examples: Main admin Navis
Bosses
The next in the line. Bosses are extremely powerful enemies capable of destroying even the strongest Navi. Full-blown bosses are often fought in storylines and some sub-story lines at the climax of said story. Never attack a boss alone, as they tend to be oppressively powerful.
Examples: Griega, Falzer, Life Virus, Epoch.
Titans
Titan is generally the top class and can also be thought of as the "Final Boss". The Titan is the final encounter of a large-scale story line and possesses powers beyond anything else in the game.
Examples: Forte, Gospel, Duo. Ghallager
