*Looked like things had gone rather well. He made sure to stock the remaining thing as required, observing it and understanding that even with his lack of understanding that it was exactly what he expected it to be. It was exactly why it had been left behind, and it was just a piece of the puzzle now. Even he could tell that while it was assured annihilation, it was also mostly generated on a whim. There was a way to optimize it, to add more fuel to the fire that would consume their very stars. And he would find that later rather than now. More important things to do than to ruin them now and also, he was missing the remaining pieces to an extent, looking to address Life, Death, and Merrill now.*
"If I thought you were looking down on me, I would certainly have plotted your downfall and used this as the moment to rectify the misunderstanding, so don't worry about it. If anything, it's made it clear that I don't look down on you either."
*After all, then he would be a hypocrite. And while it could certainly be said that there was the occasional double-standard, like saving his world while dooming another, there was at least more to it than 'because I wanted to' for why that was the case. Even if many would argue he was their superior because he had more power, he would always avoid sinking into that sort of mentality himself. Even as the Underking.*
"But I'm glad to see you're all individuals now. While I'm always down to let people figure out their own path ahead, I think this is a step in the right direction for all of you. Come what may, whatever experiences you have next will build upon your relationship and your goal until you reach it. When you do, be sure to have another one in mind, lest you become stagnant as a result. Luckily, it's just as you said. You'll test these new powers and improve their impact as we proceed forward."
*Always moving the goalpost. Most would hate to do that, but it was part of what kept him going. He was always out to satisfy his own expectations of himself, to not be perfect but to always be growing and improving. Once you considered yourself perfect, that was the end of the line. And when you were surpassed, it was just a result of your own limits. The limits set for yourself, by yourself. The plan moving forward was... well, difficult was a word for it. Their leads were usually sent to them and hunting them down was here and there. He at least knew what he had to take care of now, the last things he didn't wrap up yet as he crossed his arms, running through the list again.*
"I sent someone on an aimless quest that they instead fulfilled immediately, so that's one thing. He should be fine on his own and just pop back up when he feels like it. One question to ask one other guy as well when I see him again for another, but that's on the backburner. Slypner has everything he needs and should have finished what I asked for, so I have to pick that up. I also need to finish dropping off this machine to finish another step in the plan to at least have an answer for them. That way if we're separated, you guys also don't get taken down by them. Then again, your natural nature here looks like it works pretty well into their angle already."
*Three targets were already a boon against the ability in question. It was why having Bit and Byte separate was better than them fighting in their superior state. It was an awkward state of being but made the fights a lot more interesting than their usual bigger gun strategies. There was another thing too, but... well, again, he had made a point for that already. If he wanted to keep things to himself, then he was fine to lie in the bed with the consequences of doing so as well.*
"The last thing would be following up on Joker, but suffice to say tailing him would suck, so wait for him to come back instead. That leaves us with a few options available to us."
*He would conjure up a purple flame before it would start to expand and change shape. This would result in a roadmap, shifting between a few options for them. One took them back to Creamland, one took them to Netopia, and another took them to Sharo.*
"Sharo is in a rather precarious state, as you were made aware by the larger-than-our-world goliath that went back to taking a nap. But like Netopia, it probably has a portal like the one you and Joker walked into before. We have to dive into the hornet's nest in order to find the hornets, which is basically saying that we need to do what you did again. There's one at Creamland still, we know the one in Netopia can potentially appear again maybe, and Sharo as far as we're aware hasn't shown theirs yet. That's our plan so far at least."
*But for the sake of transparency, he did leave the fourth option on the table. Which showed Joker, who while they could ignore, they could follow up on. Because by this point from his message box he had a general idea of how well those ventures had proceeded by now.*
"If we want to deviate from that however, we can tie up loose ends with Joker. Heaven knows he can't solve it on his own."
