*It would let Hollow's question rest in the air for now. Purpose often was whatever one set their mind to at the end of the day. It didn't have to be something grandiose or great. In the great sea called life, it was what was made of it at the end of the day, illusions, truths and all. People would make a big deal of it, but that day he got to sit down and talk with Resonance he had spoken from the heart as well. Which left the next part and why Xion moved his hand slowly to Slypner with practice and precision.*
"I recall how they work, so this should work as the first step."
*The purple aura that Slypner would recognize would flare up from him then, and the following result of doing so would be clear for Slypner and Xion alike. Corrosion's suggestion next was one that also fit quite perfectly with this, as given the results of how he gathered them to begin with this would be taking it a step further. It could potentially even solve the issue where if they ran into a particularly skilled combatant that they won't be easily dismantled before fulfilling their established role of use at the time.*
"And it could also end up solving the problem of them being taken out before they do their job, though I suppose distracting the target they're used on would still be accomplished if they had to divert their focus in that direction. And if they do happen to be shot down, if we install the virus as AirMan suggests that I just so happened--..."
*And with AirMan's further suggestion there was something he would be about to bring out. It was why he had kept that body on top of the use before and why he had to gather all of those viral problems before. On top of where there old bases always happened to be, he had spent literal years gathering up the sources for any number of viral problems. The one he was going to get was a more recent gain and why he had found a certain snake quite useful in the time he had been around seeing as he helped contribute to completing it. But before that, the light knock on the door caught his attention a bit more than finishing up the current project, directing his attention toward it as he moved over to the door to open it.*
"Hi, you've reached the Xion Residence. How may I help you today?"

As Xion opens the door, he's greeted by a rather plain sight; a common Normal Navi. Yet not so common, as he'd somehow made it all of this way without setting off any bells or whistles, or even notifying the guards. Even AirMan's men turn their heads as Xion opens the door, seeming shocked to see this Navi standing here.
Local: Hi Xion, sorry to show up unannounced, but I had something to tell y-
Local glances inside and sees the group, then pauses for a moment.
Local: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt anything; would it be better if I come back later?
...if AirMan had eyebrows, one would be raised in confusion at this point. Here was the definition of a commoner standing here of all places. What in the world was he here for?

*You know, while he expected it to perhaps be one of the goons who just happened to find their way here and hear talking and found them, it was a bit more dubious that it was in fact the common Navi. This was definitely Local, and his presence brought its own series of questions to mind that he would want to ask about seeing as they were actually pretty imperative given he was here. But he could put those on the backburners for a bit, as important as they were, because he would have wanted to speak with him some more anyway.*
"No, it's all good. Seeing as you got all this way unannounced, I figure it's something important. We can talk about it now. What's up?"

Local just nods and takes a step forward, partly entering the chamber as he speaks.
Local: Well, our old friend Bass just made it back to the Undernet from who-knows-where, and it looks like he's carrying a bit more power than when he left. I'd guess that he put his hands on whatever was left of Eon, so he might be a bit more active than he was before. I just wanted to let you know so that he didn't have a surprise next time the two of you meet. And speaking of surprises...
Local points behind Xion, eyeing the tremendous avian mech that he'd called on in the center of the chamber.
Local: I've got to say; that's pretty impressive. I haven't seen a beast like that in a long time.

Hollow.___
Having been unmoving since Slypner, Xion, and Jax left, Hollow tilted his vision back up as only Jax and Xion reappeared, the artist with an energy very similar to his own now missing. Considering the red mystery data in Jax's hand, Hollow drifted forward.
"You return. Welcome. Was the journey beneficial? Do we have what we need for our next steps?"
Without given purpose, he was without anything to do. He needed something to direct him, to avoid the sense that he had nothing worth providing to the group.

*Paying little mind to the Local Navi so casually addressing Xion, the frail man continued eyeing the construct, musing his ideas about it. That was when Hollow allowed his ability be known. How fascinating! The crowd the Underking finds himself among held no shortage of surprises for the navi woefully lacking excitement in his old age. The young darkloid scheming for power achieved it, and wielded it well. He never thought those among Toxin would be anything more than stepping stones in the harbinger's ever-marching quest for death, and here Xion was. Turning his attention fully to Hollow, the cloak would shift as he nodded his head cautiously.*
"Corrosion": Do not let hubris....kill us all...You said "depending on who..." That would suffice to say that...if they do have that particular opponent...nothing would stop them from reclaiming both their weapon...and ours
*Another small coughing fit, this time almost as if he was clearing his throat, as he put the jet black chip into the case, only to produce another similar inky compressed war-crime, this time in AirMan's direction. This time, in the shade of his cloak, a sickly grin could be seen.*
"Corrosion": For Kamikaze...look no further than....A BugBomb...Not concussive, by any means....but would leave all but the most durable....out of the fight...easy to focus your resources, should it come to this.
*It's at this moment, that his attention would be caught by the voice of the, until now unassuming navi, although his words either betrayed him, or perhaps demanded the question. Turning his head so quickly the green bits of corrupted glitch data streaking across his head could be seen as the hood caught up with his figure.*
"Corrosion": "A long time" you say?....So that means you have....Seen this before? [/font]

Local seems entirely unphased at Corrosion's coughing and hacking, instead addressing him like he would any other Navi.
Local: Of course; anyone who's been around long enough should have seen one at least once: it's a Cybeast, afterall.
Looking to Xion as if to avoid overstepping, he walks over and looks over the bird for a moment, seeming to take particular care in it.
Local: I think that I heard you say that you want to use these things in battle? Well, why not just see if you can find a copy of ExaMem so that you can cage them? It seems docile enough to control, and you could let them out whenever and wherever you want.

*Forte coming back to the Undernet made sense as he no doubt was aiming to make his next move from there. It was a liaison so he could go and make a strike against his enemies without them striking back against him right away or finding him as well. But what came with it was more curious, the orbs that were his eyes narrowing briefly. There was some equations he had to work through in his head very quickly to piece that puzzle together on how exactly he would have gotten his hands on something that even he knew was up in a rather obnoxious place to waltz in to. Though with what he just got not that long ago it could make sense too.*
"Eon? How did he even get his hands on that when it should be up at... wait."
*There was a common line of dots that he had failed to connect up to now due to overlooking the actions of the Crimson Giant. He was aware that the Seal of the Generational was in his possession, but then he had also gone after Polaris from Hollow which he did not care about. Which meant that the logical conclusion and common thread they all connected were leading back to Eon. And if their old friend Bass had just so happened to get his hands on it recently, the common thread would, once again, be Joker's absence at this moment. Talk about an oversight on his part. Well, nothing for it he guessed.*
"Well I would knock him for going to get it, but no sense beating a dead horse. That's going to be riveting."
*While there was a sense of sarcasm, there wasn't entirely a lack of expectation in his voice. The hurdle might have grown larger, but he was far from daunted by it. It would make things problematic but it was always going to be that when next they met so it just compounded the fact rather than change it. But it was good to have another source to look over this one too. While the smaller birds he was more aware of their origin, Local's insight on the larger one... did raise a particular alarm in his head now. As well as something else that was important to go with the bomb suggestion from Corrosion. He mainly was concerned before that if someone saw the birds they would go about shooting them down, which meant putting that inside of it so that they could leave a different kind of contamination about would be just as well. And he had plenty of them to go around where they could implement all of their ideas and even combine them as well. The difference was they had all of those available to them, but the more recent one brought to the fore was not quite in their possession at the moment.*
"Those are good ideas and will certainly add to the pile, but do you know where we can find a copy of ExaMem? My gut is saying that it isn't just lying around in someplace obvious, but I also wouldn't know exactly where to start either."

Local reaches his hand out, forms a small Mystery Data, and tosses it to Xion in as nonchalant a fashion as possible.
Local: Start by looking right here.
If analyzed, Xion would see that the Mystery Data does indeed contain a particularly powerful program designed to compress data in a remarkably efficient manner. This is definitely ExaMem.
Local: One of my hobbies is re-making old programs like that for the fun of it. This one was a bit of a challenge, but it turned out fine. Since it's basically one-of-a-kind, you might want to compress the Cybeasts and install them individually instead of using it like a cage on one Navi. Decompressing them is a lot easier, but make sure that you stand back when you do it. Just let me know when you're done with it

*Xion would open his hand and catch the data tossed at him so nonchalantly, looking it over to realize that it was indeed exactly what it was claimed to be. This was both a fruitful day and also one that was answering questions for him and in return making it not necessary for him to ask them.*
"Huh. Fancy that."
*He certainly was the Navi Doc alright. Here he was expecting it to be somewhere heavily secured--...well, that statement was still a fact actually, just he expected a location more than a person to be what had it safe and sound. Well that added that to the table, taking stock of it one last time as he considered exactly the times he would need to use it. Right now it would be easier moving the rest into it after compressing them, which was simple enough for the many birds he had at his disposal. That left adding their big brother to the list proper later.*
"If all goes well I'll be able to get it back to you soon."
*That big brother bird still had something that was bothering him. He couldn't deny that it would be a fearsome adversary, but not one they would fail against forever. So why did it have such a specific flaw? Why not let it do its ability on as many as it possibly could? He didn't imagine it to be such a difficult thing to enable... unless the point was to hide something from them in plain sight. Because as he was aware from fighting it and tampering with it, at the end of the day it certainly was ultimately an artificial life-form. One that stemmed from a yet unknown base, but Local had given him the insight of a place to start.*

Local just waves off Xion's promise for a prompt return, smiling as he does so.
Local: Don't worry, I don't think that I'll need it for a while, and I know where to find you if I do. Just please be careful, I know that it can be dangerous to use if you're not ready for it
Local takes a step back and looks at the great beast a bit longer, seeming to remember something as he does. But soon he snaps out of it and returns his attention to Xion.
Local: Well, I need to do some virus busting in the Undernet. so I'd better go. Oh, and on the subject: now that you're the Underking and the ruler of this place, why not think about combining them? It might give you a bit more power. Plus...
Local walks over to a wall and knocks on it while looking Xion squarely in the eyes.
Local: ....a closer look at something that comes from another dimension might be helpful for what you're going through right now, right?
Local waves to the group and walks out of the chamber, beaming out in a beam of blue light, obviously on his way to the Undernet.
AirMan stares at Local his whole way out, obviously not investing his trust in the normal Navi. With the focus of his attention gone, he slides his eyes to Xion with a question.
AirMan: Interesting company, Xion. Care to share who our uniquely ununique guest was?

*He was nothing if not vigilant, so he would keep the advice in mind while making use of it. It looked like Local had come up with something too then, soon following with something that would have caused Xion, if he could display it anyway, to have a rather wry smirk on his face right now. He figured it would take a while before anyone caught on about that step. Thanks to three titans that had influenced this particular dimension now and why he had gone out of his way to get a roundabout take back in and still not correct the matter of it being disconnected as a result of the previous antics that kept happening here...*
"It's nice having similar ideas for a change."
*Well, he wouldn't need to bother going into detail about that right now. The steps to take were easy enough to make now that he was the Underking and the ruler of this place, but he would need a bit of time for that and a few other details he would take care of at the same time. So for now answering who Local was came first, which given his completely normal appearance not unlike that guy from the NIA, it would make it fairly easy to point out that they were basically a unique Normal Navi and that appearances were deceiving.*
"It's fair to keep a dubious eye about with him on your part. He's from way back in the hey-day, and by that I mean centuries ago. The Navi Doc who goes by Local. You might have missed him given your incident around that time."

Slypner
The aura flared up and Slypners eyes filled with an irridescent array of colors. His body glitched lightly at first rapidly widened. Seconds later the glitching ceased and there existed not one, not two, but three additional Slypners. One of each primary color of red, blue, and yellow. The original remained its paler-blue self while the aura vanished from him.
Good. The dark painter nods. I advise not relying on any one plan. Or that this will work at all. Based on previous encounters with these beings it stands to reason that they are aware of what you have at your disposal... At least your digital-based inventory. Are they aware of this realm?
While Slypner spoke, Red, Blue, and Yellow merely stand there. While autonomous they too were left with their hosts disposition.

AirMan's eyes narrow as he looks to Xion, then shift their way towards the doorway that Local had departed from.
AirMan: Ho-ho... the esteemed Doc. Of course the Gospel Mafia was aware of him, and I now know he caused much issue for FreezeMan. But... not to continue the subject when other issues are on our table...
AirMan's eyes shift back to Xion.
AirMan: The Navi Doc was an orange official-style Navi, while this is a simple green.

Hollow.___
The silent wizard kept vigil as the group went about again, sending out ideas and passing around resources to consider for their new project. The artist that shared similar understandings with him was afflicted with some force from Xion, and then split into three. The mysterious Navi Doc offered advice and gave a resource in one and the same action. The others present shared their views on his own attempt at helping, causing him to think more on the issue itself, when the artist offered the wisdom that more ideas meant more defenses, but that did not mean that each of them would work, or even that they would work in tandem.
"With the Undimension gone, my unique capabilities have greatly reduced. I can still assist on account of my absorbed experience, however . . . the first of our concerns, before any of the other ones, is that if we are intent on being able to each use this resource, we need a means by which everyone can access it." He turned his unflinching gaze to Xion, the flickering flames underneath his hood curling slightly faster.
"I presume you already considered this variable?"
