Vanguard.EXE
Vanguard turned and nodded at Mistair as she disappeared back into the confines of Faith's PET, but then found himself paying attention to Var's words. Due to her method of entry? As a human, he meant, then? The technology she used to transform her genetic information into digital code wouldn't allow her access to the new location?
What would be the meaning for that? He took Centurion from her, nodding, as she disappeared from the Net, as well, leaving just himself and Genesis standing before his mentor. His mind was racing, as it always did when new information was given to it. The fact that they had to change locations, go somewhere new, meant that their previous method of travel, Faith's PET, wasn't a safe place to retreat to. If he took into account that Faith herself also wasn't able to go to the location that they were about to retreat to, then it meant that they were traversing somewhere that the technology she was using wouldn't allow her to go there.
She required a port of some kind to connect herself into the Net. Vanguard and the others didn't. With the number of locations within range, did it mean that the Net wasn't the only place being targeted? Or was it such that the areas being targeted were going to be destroyed so absolutely that being confined to a PET would put them within a perpetual prison, with no place else to return to?
His eyes moved rapidly, in a little tap dance of thought, as he considered the implications. Were only a select few being given this information, then? Those that were necessary for whatever plan this was? Var kept acting on sharp turns of his information, meaning he was operating on technicalities within his agreement. This web seemed to get broader and broader with each passing moment, and yet the expansion of the web didn't make it any less tight on them.
Vanguard decided it was pointless to bring this up to Var, and so the tactician just nodded his head, still feeling that burning in his eye as he did so. He turned to look back at Genesis, with Armiger, and kept Centurion at hand, as he prepared to leave at his mentor's behest. "Then, we go. As soon as Mistair is back . . ." he turns to look back at his master, his voice trailing off. "And after that? Our scheduled execution, I presume?"

And then, at last, Faith's PET begins to stir.
The destroyer, obviously off his game, begins to awaken. Within the PET, the Navi reaches for his helmet, grips one of the golden horns affixed to its front, and pulls it away with a gasp, revealing disheveled brown hair and the red "W" mark on his forehead. He holds his head for a time, slowly regaining his bearings, before finally looking around. The violent Navi finds himself within a human's PET; an unexpected position. He analyzes all that he can before flinching with the sudden pain and memory of his less than advantageous meeting with Silverhorn comes returns to memory, along with the final result. Laying back, he controls his breath as best he can and returns his helmet while closing his eyes. He remains silent for a few moments before finally speaking out in a surprisingly even-tempered and polite tone given who he is.
?: Whoever has me right now; could you kindly return me to the net?

#s://cdn~discordapp~com/attachments/340189121500938240/841390153762865193/1000~png Var would again nod his head to Vanguard. That was still ultimately the task that he had been assigned with today. Whether or not they could overturn that execution would be for their own ability to decide. But at least for the time being that wasn't their current reality. Their current reality is that they were on less than borrowed time, and their current key to managing to get through this situation on that time had just woken up.
"Oh, good. You woke up on your own."
After his analysis and inquiry, almost as if on queue had Mistair arrived. They hadn't exactly been acquainted in person before, but it would have been stranger for her to not know of this particular Navi with his very loud history. He had made himself known plenty by now, even if not by name then by his deeds. With him being calm and in a rather... she would say disheveled predicament this should be able to proceed smoothly at least.
"I can take you back out to the net, but we need you to disclose something for us as well. It wasn't exactly described as a bunker or anything, but you know of a location that should serve as a safe zone at least. Do you mind sharing the location of where that is with us?"

And just like that, the destroyer's eyes narrow and a harder persona re-appears. He turns his gaze from Mistair and pauses before returning a response.
?: Jack me out and I'll give it to someone that I don't have reason to doubt.

It was nice to see she still managed to maintain being the least trustworthy in a room even with someone like this. While she could go about this in a rough manner to get results, it wouldn't exactly assuage any doubts about her either. She at least could understand why anyone would harbor those particular doubts, so she still didn't let it bother her. She paused for a moment herself now... before she nodded and moved over to place her hand on his shoulder. When she was finished, he would find that he was able to jack out and return to the net proper, though proper in this case was still Sharo thanks to the PET owner's current location herself even though she was likely on the move now.
"Done."

Back in Sharo... great. The cold tundra was never his favorite network, but at least he was in a place where more than one Navi could get the data at once. Pulling up a screen, he types into it and sends the requested location to those around him before collapsing his arm back onto the ground
?: I'm worthless like this. I'll be at the point shortly.
The now humbled destroyer then teleports out in a beam of light, moving on to areas unknown.

Vanguard, unfortunately, nodded his understanding to Var, just in time to see the crippled and humbled Armored Destroyer appear out of Faith's PET, followed soon after by Mistair. Without so much as saying a word to them, the Armored Destroyer produced the coordinates and then left.
Quick to act, Vanguard pulls up the information sent to him and loads it into his own systems, glancing around at everyone else in attendance. "Well, there we have it, then. Let's not tempt fate any longer."
Without much more to say, Vanguard first walked over and joined with Mistair, to travel alongside her. A spoken an unnecessary understanding, but theirs all the same. Disappearing alongside her and Centurion in a plume of purple flames, they traveled to the presumed safe house.
[Vanguard -> ?]

All it took was placing a bit of trust in him to not run off on his own like he usually would. Which mind you, he still did, but only after he made certain everyone got the message that needed it. That was better of him to be honest, moving over to Vanguard so they could depart as they had grown accustomed to now. It was still unnecessary, but just as equally necessary to them by now.
"And without having to pry anyone's head open, we can be on our way."
Var didn't leave just yet, thorough in his work. Once they had made their way he would then go about doing the same. But once they arrived at Eden... they could perhaps begin to gain some insight into what was here. And how much grander still it was than any of them could have imagined. Just as the Avatar of War had been forced to confront all that time ago when that reality had to sink in for him.

*Looked like Mistair succeeded on her front, looking over the information that he obtained. This... was a rather obscure location in Creamland, wasn't it? You wouldn't just happen upon it by roaming around aimlessly and even if you searched with purpose, it was far removed from anything relevant. The price to pay for resembling a slew of islands he supposed. It was much like Sharo being a series of bug-infested mountains. What one couldn't see on the surface always had a way of moving all on its own in their world. Still, that was enough inspection on the matter.*
"He is self-aware at least."
*Never one to let it go without stating what needed to be said on a matter, he would beam out next. And find out one way or another what exactly would be waiting for them outside of having to deal with Var next. What exactly this location was for, and why it existed? Vanguard's job would be talking with his mentor. Genesis' was the much simpler yet complex part of the proceedings to follow there.*
