"Oh?"
*It didn't use that darkness last time, so it was likely an addition acquired now rather than earlier. A sum of parts that was from others, was it? That was fine, this time standing his ground against the assault that came at him before the last as the environment around him was used by the creature. The force from before had met the evasive beast, but that was something it didn't begin with. The area was repairing itself after it was used and moved around unlike the remnants of citizens caught in the crossfire, a fact he recalled Jax wasn't very fond of when he tried to utilize the terrain here last time. This time the blade retracted, aiming his hand toward the creature then as two more of the homing blades fired out followed by a violent, silver flames gave rise from the palm of his hand that fired off in rapid succession.*

The heat seeking knives find their mark yet again. As Xion also parries and counters blow for blow almost as well as the denizen himself. While his would-be prey struck a well of unapproachable darkness. This predator would not be beaten into submission just yet.

*Looked like it was having a bit of trouble now and he hadn't even gone quite into his better state just yet. This time as the returns came, a shift happened then as a surge came from him in earnest this time, the strikes that would hurt him before doing the opposite this time as he grew in strength instead. He held out his hand, a cloud of darkness welling up as he fired it forth, shrouding the district itself in the display that came with it and the predator likely noticing what had happened as a result of the change in scenery that they now rested in.*
"And so predator becomes prey. But you're not without worth. If you settle down and listen to me, I won't have a reason to finish you off if you agree to the terms. So how about it?"

?? The typical pastels that made up the colony skyline overwrote with a darkness not seen since Samhains day. The sure shots he had met success with thus far somehow... healing the foe instead? The dark sphere that engulfs him stripping him of whatever life energy he had left... and yet he remained conscious. A power he had never felt welling up inside him, keeping the creature more alert and aware than he had felt in hundreds of battles. This newfound sense of awareness screaming at him one thing and one thing only. That this would-be prey is more than they seem.
Wot 're ya..? You're nah guard. The creatures voice still giving the impression of strength, despite being cornered by this unnatural pressure. He kept one arm as a blade to defend if need be but made no further offense motions. Feeling the futility in such an effort.

*That was a good reaction. It maintained the blade even in the face of futility, which meant that it would go down a fighter instead of a coward. He liked those far more than those who were meek in the face of despair. It would be better to go down with blade in hand than with your head hung low, begging for mercy from someone else. That was just a pitiful way to go out and did bring a smile to his eyes when he recalled that Longinus guy he tore in half. That was a really good day.*
"I am the Lord of this place. Which I guess by proxy makes me more or less, much as I don't like saying it, the god of these minions. Gotta stop eating my guards all willy nilly."

?? God the minions...? Like Samhain? The creature had never met Samhain but all of the denizens spoke of him. So this must be him then.
...'At Samhain bloak? Uneducated ignorance indeed. The rulers request was fair, but what was to be done about the endless hunger he suffers? For both battle and sustenance. Ok ya so yogi bear, but wot am I supposed ter eat na?

*His eyes narrowed briefly then, considered the ignorance of the statement, and then disregarded it all in the same notion. It could have been useful and he would make a note to be somewhat more tolerant in the future to that, but in this case the first would always have to be the example for the rest that would follow. So instead of answering he held out his hand, calling up what appeared to be a seed that he launched into the amalgam being. Bugs swarmed forth from inside and out of him as vines, rot, and mold would grow out from the infested to devour him alive from every crevice or making their own. He wasn't fond of the move, but the attack in question was a painful way to be taken out of this world so it had to be done. He just really didn't like that pumpkinhead after the stunt he pulled as he sighed, verbally noting his deed anyway.*
"Well that was both wasteful yet worth it of me. Oh well."

?? The corrosion eats away at the bugged assailant. These newer bugs eating and stripping away at his own in rapid time. Hng! He responds. Taking one final swipe of the blade towards Xion in a motion to decapitate him. Then turning to leap away and bounding onto the roof, then another. Putting distance between himself and the lord of the colony. Each bound bits and pieces of him falling to the way-side before the eventually combusting into a swarm of little bugs that evaporated away.

*He motioned out of the way of the blade, knowing the gruesome outcome to take place with what was done. It was a small sample of what he could do with it, but it was good enough as it were. And as he first considered, his outright brute force was what Samhain had always been overestimating. The crux of his ability wasn't in that brute force but in another area. He would just mold what he possessed in that direction more properly as he was already attempting and handle the rest from there. ...Jax wasn't here yet either, which meant they would have to move into the next step without him then. They had the tools so that was fine, but he had wanted to clue him in that not all was as it seemed. He'd have to do it later, assuming JunkMan wasn't just lost somewhere. ...He probably shouldn't leave him alone for good, so he'd spend the time to locate him right quick since this was his backyard now, moving his hand to bring the junk collector to him. He'd do it for Hollow too, but he figured he was just spectating as it was and didn't need to be gathered up before returning to Slypner.*

JunkMan.SIT
His little belt wheel continued whirring across the landscape, JunkMan jumping at every little creak and moan that he heard in the darkness, feeling like he could constantly hear laughter and the sounds of some fighting off in the distance. Still, he tried to clear his mind and keep going, attempting to feel some sense of bravery.
As he rounded a corner, however, after what seemed like a long time without hearing from everyone else, he suddenly felt this strange force upon him, and felt himself getting dragged along the Network. Crying out, JunkMan reached forward with his claws and tried to grasp onto something, but, it was altogether too late; he let a loud screech into the air as he was dragged along, only to find himself in Xion's hands at the end of it all.
"Oh! Oh, thank goodness, I thought something terrible had me," he huffed out, shaking off his jitters and trying to regain a sense of self. "So, did something happen? Did you find anything?" There was no way that he would sound brave at all, and the little garbage man was still rapidly looking around, fearful and utterly embarrassed.
Hollow.___
As expected of him, almost as soon as the other being fled away, Hollow appeared out of a nearby mound of sand. He seemed to simply shift from the very terrain into being, the sand rippling to release his form. He glanced over in the direction that the creature had fled, wondering just what Xion had done to him that he was certain he would no longer be a problem.
Still, the power he felt surging up from Xion, even now, made it very clear that he was on an entirely separate level than he was before. His power had seemed to increase while Hollow was being idle, and it was clear he had not lying when he said he had acquired much of it. Putting his attention back on Xion, he moved forward until he stood before him. "Your combat expertise still shines evidently, but your power has changed much. I had wondered for a time if you were in need of my assistance, and you made it increasingly clear that you were not."

*It was nice to know he didn't count as something terrible having him. It wasn't something he got to show off too much but it was still ultimately not quite enough for him. No, there a big enough fish around for him to cut his teeth on for that as it were.*
"Found the problem the folks were having and gave it a lasting solution. But I am gonna have a favor to ask of you."
*So now was settling things here, answering JunkMan first given that the thing they had been looking for wasn't even maggot food now. He pulled out another trophy that he had obtained recently, a dark hole opening that emerged the sword of the Scion of Eon himself, the Polaris. While it didn't appear as anything special, it was something he could easily use as a landmark when wielded. That was part of the plan.*
"He was some food that I could play around with. But there is someone I can't be as leisurely with, the one who locked me away last time. I've got a good feel of my surroundings now. And it's evident that their next move has already been set up. And like my expertise, your own plays a large part in this."
*He turned his hand, almost as if the dark hole he created shifted and changed into a looking glass of sorts. And it was reflecting Netopia this time. It was a bird's eye view, but one that Xion and Hollow alike could make details of. Of the NIA that were about, but more importantly... violet lights. It was in a large quantity, beneath the surface and flickering out. They were moving elsewhere, and they were able to tell where that was. It was slow, discreet, and outside the watchful eyes of other onlookers after the destruction all about Netopia ruined most watches. All it needed was the pilot light. Xion was silent here, but Hollow could hear him speaking all the same, mostly to save JunkMan the trouble. This wasn't his fire fight, not yet anyway. No need to have him be roasted on his behalf for no reason.*
"So I'll make it into a contest, fair and square. But I'll need your help with this. As we're alike, the only thing they'll discern us with will be Polaris. They know me well, they know I won't exactly hand it over to anyone besides myself. And we've seen some of their strength: once the time is ripe and you light the blade, get ready to get out. They'll jump you immediately unless you want to buy some more time. That will be more than enough of a diversion after the havoc we'll start. If this works out well, then I'll get to show you something even grander. Something that others dream of, but never try to accomplish with their own hands."

JunkMan.SIT
JunkMan looked up in awe at the portal that Xion created, almost any mention of the monster or even their horrible surroundings removed from his mind as his attention was taken in entirely by the spyglass. Looking through the portal into Netopia below, he watched the people milling about, and his big yellow eyes goggled at the purple energy coiling through the ground. He didn't at all understand what any of this meant, and he was honestly having trouble piecing through the meaning of Xion's cryptic speech, but, he also couldn't help but look up in interest at it all.
"Are we going there next? It looks a little rundown, but it definitely looks better than here!" he asked, having completely ignored everything Xion had said. He could've spoken aloud and his interest in the scene within the portal would have distracted him from the concerns.
Hollow.___
Hollow's eyes shifted to the blade as Xion summoned it, and then to the void that he created in the air. Narrowing his gaze, his yellow eyes closing together into tight circles, Hollow edged closer, well aware that this sort of thing was usually his specialty. Another one of the many skills Xion seemed to inherit from him, while also still being wildly different.
The opportunity to test out new abilities was what he witnessed, then? Stretching into his new muscles. Now, he had bigger concerns before him, and he needed Hollow's help. He turned his attention back to the portal, watching as those within it moved about, unbeknownst of their observers from another realm. The purple energy that seemed to be converging from all corners of the Net traced its origins to the center of the Net, and, through his experience with Xion's past, he knew immediately what the darkloid was planning.
He turned to study him again, having to constantly remind himself that this was born of his own code, and yet, it could be so dynamic. The humans that created him were not completely useless - even if they lacked the technology to cure a simple disease, they did not lack the progression to turn his broken and empty self into something new.
He only blinked, his yellow eyes vanishing for a moment before reopening, as he looked over the blade Xion offered him. If he understood it correctly, Xion wanted him to be a diversion, using the power of the weapon before him to distract their foes from Xion's own convergence of power. He was to use the weapon, attract the enemy to him, and then leave.
What a wonderful opportunity to test his own analysis - a marvelous opportunity, however, bespeckled with plenty of situations he knew nothing about. It would be best to follow the plan exactly as listed, then, which was fine - as with most things, he was not entirely committed to simply fight. He wasn't looking forward to any of this, if only because he cared not for it in the slightest.
He reached up and grasped Polaris as his answer, a hole appearing in his hand as the sword was all but consumed into his great void. A second passed, and, suddenly, two Xions stood where only one was once before. Xion would be as though staring into a mirror, as Hollow glanced through his progeny's eyes.
"I will assist you in your endeavor. I need only know what I may earn from this - your answer need not be given immediately, but, you know the use of my services in the past has always cost you."
It was not so much greed nor this sense of need to be repaid his efforts, as much as it was to set a standard: Xion was not the first of those that were born of him to reach out to him, and he would remain firm, no matter how much power Xion earned, that he was the original, and should he push himself to it, he could pose a passing threat to the Darkloid. He had no desire to; even the agreement to allow Xion to use his signature came with the benefit of access to Xion's memories and shape, expanding his own potential for learning and exploration.

"No, JunkMan, you're headed for Creamland. They have some junk you can collect and need your help with it. Just head here to get to helping."
*He opened a portal, this time showing back to Creamland and piles of objects that others just left loitering about here and there. It was safer than here or where they were going, his shadow expanding behind him as another of himself rose up from it. It was clear however that this one wasn't as though it were looking in a mirror unlike Hollow and Xion now. It was cyan blue armor with his eyes, but not his tell-tale silver. This one's job was to let Slypner know that work was about to be done, heading out to do just that. For Hollow, his reward as Xion would put it would be two-fold instead of one. And even if part of that was something many would expect him to never commit to, he was willing to do exactly that. It was a rare payment to give to Hollow indeed.*
"This time you'll earn a rather rare thing. History's hard to come by and equally difficult to create. That sword has a rare bit of history that can be unraveled with it."
*To give him a piece of a lost relic that would lead to the treasure behind it. And to create history etched into the world to always recall, like those who had come before. They were exceptionally invaluable rewards. And in a way, a reward that mirrored progeny and original. But that was enough of that, now came beginning the raid. The diversion would suffice with just them, but he was looking for success here. Half-measures were for those who wanted half the results. So the pair would see something else happening then, a helping of denizens of the Colony appearing in various points in Netopia en masse. And while at first they were confused, their instincts to conquer the new ones they found sent them on the offense without a problem. Next was heading in themselves, not heading for the center just yet. There would be no point in the diversion if they tipped their hand right at the start, his hands shifting just a tad as well. These would make nice editions to use as well for this, heading on in to clash with Netopia's NIA this time.*

Slypner Xions duplicate has no issue finding Slypner. Standing there as he was when the Tyrant had left. As he approaches the goon who had also been left was there also and pipes up
Oh thank goodness you're ba-.. Why are you blue? confused, yet the blue clone ignores him, and delivers the necessary deets to Slypner as he was told.
... The short artist just stares back, nodding understandingly. Unamused at the continued delay, or just fine. Who could say?
