Vanguard.EXE
He counted it a little victory that the monstrosity raised his defenses against his barrage, smirking as he did naught but to toss the boomerang aside. The boomerang righted itself in its arc, corrected its path, and came flying back around to strike at Vamin, again.
The reaverking did have defenses, then. It would appear that they were just basic defenses in nature, meaning all he needed to do was target them enough times with enough force to pressure the beast into relenting.
He could do that.
Vanguard noted that Mistair was lending her aid again, feeling the fires within his own systems stoke up stronger. As the fires were fed, his intensity fell, the natural tempo of his adrenaline dying down. He was currently relying on his adrenaline for this attack plan, but, he could berate the beast a little longer without giving way.
He raised a powerful chip into his grasp, crushing the HubBatch Giga Chip into his palm. Instantly, a powerful blue aura suffused from his being, restoring some of his chips and granting him the power of a hero long past. Landing from his raised position onto the panels below, Vanguard tested the weight of his feet, feeling no harm from the hunger the Reaverking afflicted. Placing his hand on the ground, Vanguard exuded the intensity of his flames and his programming's unique ability to absorb ambient dark data and consume it - and he consumed the darkness all around them, reducing their surroundings to a plane, clear battleground.
Dropping a few of his options back into his reserves rather than using them immediately, Vanguard readied his next assault against Vamin. Even as the dinosaur-like enemy decided to hold his assault, he could not relent.
As much as he despised pulling out yet another of his well-hidden cards, he needed to ensure that this turn was not a net loss. Mistair used good resources to provide him with a lot of benefits, and he needed to capitalize on it in the future. Dialing his coils into just the right combination, Vanguard released another Navi Mark into the air, not unlike the one he placed onto Mistair to activate Armiger. He placed this one on himself, and electricity crackled over his form, as Centurion materialized into his hand.
"Boss?" Centurion's voice, a hard, stern and deep crackle entered his mind as the sentient spear took its place in his right hand.
"Centurion, there isn't time to explain. We're in a real scenario right now, and I need you to handle the excess energy for my secondary assault."
Centurion only took a few seconds to go through his own files and connect with Vanguard, and then took to the job he was handed. "I've got it, sir. If I may, I've also delegated some of my energies into the attacks you were already preparing. If I understand the situation correctly, we are in dire straights, yes? . . . I instantly entered my Darksoul."
Vanguard grimaced and dumbly nodded his response, putting his own mind back to the task at hand. "As always, keep your mind on the target, and analyze every move. We're in the field, now, and this is your moment to prove yourself. Armiger is here, too. Our goal: Survive."
They needed no more words between them. Vanguard focused his attention on his assault, and Centurion offered the support that the most potent weapon Vanguard knew.
Spinning his new spear around his hand, Vanguard flicked a slot open along its length and loaded in his most recently prepared battle chip. As the chip disappeared into it, Centurion's form buzzed with power, and Vanguard began rapidly spiraling around the reaverking. He glanced his sight back at Mistair and Armiger, the ever-present secretary never ceasing to amaze. As he looked back at them, the chip's data reaching his core, Vanguard could not help but smirk.
His options were laid out rather plainly. He could utilize the one Giga Chip he had that could burn through a massive number of defensive options at once. The only problem was that this specific chip could only be funneled through reticles that magnified it; not through reticles that modified it. If the Reaverking also possessed am Undershirt, he would blast straight through it, and then be back to square one. Given the option of plowing through the Undershirt without utilizing his only other option, he would need to sustain for a few more bouts of back-and-forth before he could realistically strike down the monster.
He didn't have the time to spare for a lengthy journey to check-mate. He needed to corner this king now. Centurion was on his last lap, and Armiger was barely holding up his icy form atop Mistair. He smiled as the dark aura enveloped him, feeling it overtake him.
This was risky. He was a fool. But he didn't have the time for leisure, and no other person in the Net could have possibly been better equipped to end this monstrosity. A final spin of his spear caused motes of darkness to all around him. His personal flames radiated around each and every sphere, as little reticles appeared all throughout the cavern. Small dots of purple speckled Vamin's outer form, searing away through his armor, darksoul and being doing to his very core.
To destroy. Beyond all hopes. Beyond all chances.
To destroy all that stood against him.
"Checkmate, vermin.
He would be a dead man were it not for the people he had supporting him. His hubris and anger were properly matched with the constantly level-headed tone of Mistair. Even his sight could be clouded - and his sight was his weapon of choice. A lot of learning came from this opportunity, and if he lived, he'd know plenty more about himself.

He silently sighed in relief as the woman decided she would not, in fact, put themselves into the line of harm. Even as snug as he felt within her barrier, he, too, was running out of time on his Darksoul. It wouldn't be long before his own darksoul, weak and unnurtured, would petter out, and he would be left vulnerable to the constant pain of the hunger he felt just barely abated. He watched in awe as Vanguard summoned the legendary spear, Centurion, to his hands, and began to masterfully use the sentient weapon as an extension of his own being, and could not help but feel inspired by it.
He, too, would one day be at that level. At a level so profound that he could stand up to a being as the Reaverkings without fear. Until then, he would wait, in his defensive state, and do all that he could to keep Mistair even remotely safe - and to keep himself alive.

Mistair couldn't help but offer a smile back to Vanguard. She didn't quite condone Darkloids herself either, but she knew the tools that some of them had available to them. She trusted that Vanguard would have the tools in his arsenal to press onward as long as she opened the way for him. She simply gave him the push that he needed for exactly that. And the dinosaur-like monstrosity was blanketed by their efforts united. And at long last, the Reaverking of Famine was... still standing. Sparks came from his body, growling under his breath. Talk about the upset indeed. Having to report a failure was something he wasn't proud of... but he could be proud of the fact that it took someone of Vanguard's pedigree to perform such a deed. Him and those alongside him.
"So it is. Take this experience with you, Vanguard. You know well this is far from over. You've only taken the first step."
A blaze engulfed Vamin, almost as if it was triggered by the damage that Vamin himself had taken. And when the smoke had cleared, the behemoth was gone. The damages and everything were still apparent, but they had managed to pull through despite how many setbacks they received. It wasn't the end of their adversary just yet, but they had won. If they had done so before, they simply would need to do so again.
:Vamin: King's Resilence A king is one to not simply bend the knee, to not simply yield. Effects: Once per battle, can survive a turn of fatal attacks if engaged with the opponents for the first time. Cannot be pierced. Passive.
Vamin: Withdrawn.

....the peace of the moment. A victory claimed, a foe defeated. However, Vanguard and Misair were not the only ones aware of Vamin's power, and the creeping presence that even now began to rise within the network would tell the tale of what would happen next. A seeping, seizing pressure rises, almost as though the network itself had risen to strangle the two Navis that it hosts just to keep itself safe. With every moment it rises, and with each second the grim realty becomes more and more apparent;
He's approaching.

Out of Character That's right. The network attempts to defy the immense power of the being approaching. To reject it, to expunge it. But said denizen among denizens is having none of it. *KTHUM* A door gets kicked in, clattering inwards and swaying about like those two little shutter things at a saloon tavern. Despite the fact that this was a singular door... and opened vertically. A beefy beef beefcake beef arm of beef silences the wimpy doors.
Stepping through it was a navi of incredible height(5'6), donning still relevant parachute pants and his signature original name brand sleeveless vest(do not steal ok?) over his black shirt. A stern, women ensnaring jawline accentuates the smile of a navi who is ego incarnate.
He slams the, again vertical, door shut behind him. YO. IT'S YA BOI WHO BEATS EM AND DELETES EM AND NE-... he pauses. Noting that everyone here looks way lamer than him, but also that there was no fighting. Still, he struck a sick pose anyway. fist on hip, the other pointed skyward, Charleston Chew balancing on top.
He approached indeed.
I have no regrets

The smoke cleared and Vamin still stood. Battered, broken and literally sparking, but, standing. Vanguard cursed, preparing his only remaining hope, until he heard Vamin's rebuttal to his defeat. The beast was consumed within its own flames, leaving Vanguard relieved. They were victorious . . . but they were far from out of the woods.
Vanguard took a moment to himself, collapsing and breathing heavily. Placing a hand suffused with dark data onto his shoulder, he winced at the incredible pain of his code being eaten alive by the dark chip glitches in his systems. He was such a fool to have activated the DarkStage, but, had he not, he would've never discovered the truth about Vamin.
Supporting himself on Centurion's spear shaft, Vanguard took careful, calm breaths, trying to ignore the pain, looking through the still smokey room the focus his attention on Mistair and Armiger. He looked down at Centurion, sparking in his hand. With his mind linked with the weapon's, he could tell that Centurion was worried, but was too afraid to voice his fear. He sighed, remembering how much pressure the humans running their organization from outside the Net put on them. He huffed one last careful breath, wincing as he felt the glitches spread throughout his code, and stood, staggering, his white eyes gleaming proudly behind his purple visor. "Good work, team. Now, to get out of h-"
He paused, then, as the pressure on the Network became evident. Vanguard faltered, almost keeling over as the Network seemed to crush itself around him. Wide-eyed and suddenly very aware of how injured he was, Vanguard tried to force himself back up and move. There was no other Navi that instills this kind of sensation; this kind of pressure on the Net around them. He remembered this all too well, and his eyes immediately traced Mistair's outline to land on the gash in her chest, still visible through Armiger.
"You did good, Centurion, and we'll debrief later. I'm sorry, but, I'm doing this next piece to protect you. Centurion, disengage and return." Vanguard detached the Navi's crest from his own, the Centurion spear immediately deteriorating into a stream of energy that condensed back into the Navi mark. He stored the mark back into his slotted coils and reached out towards Mistair as he approached her. For all of their bravery and the help they both put into this, he could not allow them to be potential targets to Forte. "Armiger, disengage and return." The living armor immediately responded to the command protocol, the ice coating Mistair retreating back into the Navi Core. The mark detached from her back and free-floated back to Vanguard, where he replaced it into his coils.
He collapsed next to Mistair, his relief for one victory very brief as it seemed they were to be assailed by a fear far greater. He hated having to use programmed protocols on the two Navi Equipment, but it was the best way to get them to a safe place without having to explain too much now. He could only hope they'd understand, later. "I hope you understand," he breathed out to Mistair, preparing another set of chips into his coils. "They barely have any experience - I will not expose them to him. Their work was done, and they do not need a target on their backs for our problems."

It was as Vanguard feared, and the chance for he or Mistair to escape had long since slipped through their grasp. The net quakes beneath their feet, as if screaming out in anguish as it falters under the weight of the one that will soon grind it beneath his heel.
Then it stops. The quakes, the tremors, they all stop. It's as though Mistair and Vanguard now stand at the eye of the storm. An uneasy peace rises with a quiet panic as the presence of this terrible being hangs over their heads before at last the net itself tears into a pure black schism between them, and the First Navi rises like the coming of the red dawn on the executioner's morning.
Forte slowly hovers out of the tear in the network that he'd just made as his brown, ragged cloak lays dead about his body, though it betrays a downright terrifying sight; rising slightly to his side, a single buster is formed on his arm, signifying that he didn't come for pleasantries.
Forte first looks to Mistair, his eyes betraying nothing but a fierce anger and impatience. He holds his gaze on her for a few moments, contemplating putting an end to her part in this for a few moments before he finally turns away from her in disgust.
Forte: My patience with you is waning.
And this is when Forte turns to Vanguard. The overwhelming power that is his very essence draws closer before at last stopping a few yards short and lining his buster up with the militant Navi's head.
Forte: You will tell me what you've done here today.

Vanguard.EXE
Vanguard feels the quaking of the Network, and then the sudden calm. One may refer to this as the eye of the storm. He referred to it as the sudden calm that falls over an area just after an intense gust of wind before the first peal of thunder; the calm before the storm. The Net tore itself in twain to grant him access, and Vanguard got his first look upon the First Navi.
He knew him only by association, rumor and the sheer intensity of his presence. The last time he had shared a server with him, he had been frozen in time and facing the opposite direction. He only heard his voice, felt his power, and saw what he did to Mistair. Then, he could only imagine the power and fear that he must instill, and feel it from afar.
Now, he could see him up close. His features were surprisingly plain, mostly wrapped in a dull, brown cape that draped over his shoulders, his strange head-piece looking like the fins on a fish. His attention was immediately drawn away from that, however, and down to the simple but very clearly intended buster leveled at him. He did his best not to visibly gulp, noting his own position on the ground.
Vanguard looked like a victim. He did not prefer this position, but he was not arrogant or ignorant enough to try to raise himself to his level. His eyes trailed over to Mistair for but a second, wondering what she felt, how her scar was faring, before him, but, gave his attention back to the one leveling a buster at him.
Vamin was a surmountable foe. He was making it clear that he was not only insurmountable, but he was also undefiable. He considered his next words carefully, finding it curious that, in all the things Forte could have done, he decided to come and ask him a question. Was he not able to view them through the gash in Mistair's chest, like he suggested? Did he not already know the answer to his own question?
He realized that he had been quiet for a long time; a dangerously long time. He was falling over his own words, mouth agape but with nothing coming out, looking obtusely dumb. The tactician took a deep breath to calm his nerves, closed his eyes for a brief moment, and then fixed his determined gaze upon the First Navi. The weight on the Network was becoming more bearable, the intensity of his stare less discomforting.
"You will have to forgive my brevity, as we are still being pursued by others. The threat you pose is grand, but, on the off chance you let us leave, I shall be brief so that escape will be easier.
"A typical work day turned into an intense debriefing session that quickly devolved into cards being revealed that were not yet meant to be played. In an attempt to cover up and prepare for the fallout, our pursuers - previous coworkers - attacked us. All Mistair and I have accomplished is removing ourselves from immediate danger, with the hopeful goal of acquiring the device that we were creating to track down the Cybeasts, in hope of avoiding an encounter such as this. When confronted with dangers, I provided tactical insight and militant firepower, and Mistair provided support to keep me going. We have escaped the immediate attention of our pursuers, but our escape was complicated by the presence of Vamin.
"So I eliminated him."

Forte's eyes narrow slightly as Vanguard speaks, realizing that the tactical Navi was gaining more and more confidence as he spoke. This note was slightly annoying, as was his long-winded response to a simple question. It's not until his last statement that Forte's eyes fully narrow. The net once again quakes as Forte stops himself in mid-air, holding a brutal gaze for a few moments. Then, all at once, it stops. Forte's normal motion returns as he hovers, his buster returns to his cloak, and Vanguard would suddenly feel entirely restored, as if he'd never even fought the great beast. But the reason for this would soon be apparent....
Forte: I see... the power that I sensed...
Forte glances back to Mistair, giving her a short glare before returning to Vanguard.
Forte: ...it had to have been you.
Forte remains silent for a moment, looking down on Vanguard as he contemplates and makes his choice.
Forte: If that's the case...
The pressure rises again as Forte hovers higher than before, looking on as his arm appears from behind his cloak.
Forte: ...then show me the power that you've laid claim to. Show me just who you are.
This was it; Vanguard now had no choice but to face the absolute terror of the networks, the one whose power had gone truly unrivaled for generations. The original Navi himself.
Forte [5,000/5,000]: This may be fun....
<Forte gives the first turn to Vanguard>

He couldn't stop himself from gulping as Forte narrowed his eyes at him, staring down this inevitability with all of the courage he could muster. The Network started quaking yet again, the pressure rising, and Vanguard felt his old wounds tear and warp yet again -
- and then all of his pain vanished. He took a moment to process, but, looking down at himself, Vanguard shifted his legs, turned his chest, and held up his hands. He did not see a scratch on his body, did not feel any pain, and felt his natural systems in effect, rapidly devouring the excess energy from his used DarkChips.
He looked up to Forte, suddenly feeling something else. He had intended for his words to show that he was not afraid and that he was capable of doing that which Forte wanted him to do. He was also hoping that his last sentence would drop the daring arrogance of his intentions, even in his weakened state - no matter what rose against him, he would do his best to persevere. He was nothing if not capable and aware of his own skills.
He could never have imagined that it would prompt Forte to want to test his mettle. He remembered his moments, all those years ago, when he first fought with Antlion, and how much of an insect he felt compared to Ruin, who appeared afterwords. Ruin had come before him and shown him just how weak he was and then rewarded him for even trying. He found himself back there, standing before a truly impossible challenge, a challenge he had no hope of winning, no true reason to accept.
It excited him. He felt his blood pumping, his fires burning darker. Supporting himself on one hand, Vanguard pushed himself off of the ground to stand up, feeling that sensation again. His master's words as he stood up against the embodiment of war, another impossible challenge, resounded through his mind.
A battle is only ever truly lost if you refuse to rise against it.
He looked back at Mistair, and then dared himself to look up and glare his own intense stare back at Forte. His piercing white eyes glanced at the first Navi, and he allowed his reticles to appear on his irises, his targeting systems scanning over Forte's data. Vanguard glanced over his body, noting his cloak, and paying attention to where his busters were. His eyes took in every detail on the outside and then tried to push deeper, daring to glance into the intense data stream of the file that was Forte.
The purple reticles on his eyes flared, and Vanguard paid attention to Forte's data, looking for any weaknesses in its flow, any structural sound point within its fortifications. He thought long and hard about potentially requesting for Mistair's safety, or even if he could get her help. But, then, he realized something even more important:
He had Forte's interest. So long as he had that, Mistair would be mostly safe. He hoped she saw her opportunity where it was given.
I'm buying you time, he thought, not able to turn his attention away from Forte to deliver this message properly. Please see that.
"Very well. My power is my eyes and my mind, and I am a tactician. I make people respond to me how I want them to - so, how do you respond when pressured by incredible power?"
Vanguard's body kindled anew, the purple fires burning brightly as he pooled his resources back together. Raising his arm, he sifted through the coils until just the right combination of chips lined themselves up, and began stocking his flames through them, small veneers of darklight streaming up from his wrists. Raising his right hand, Vanguard forged a circular reticle out of his fires and threw it into the air, instantly causing it to expand. Staring through the reticle at Forte, he envisioned his previous assault, rekindling his fires, and, through his envisioned plan, made his intentions a reality.
The room darkened as the first of the meteors fell once again, just as potent and as dangerously powerful as the last. The large rocks fell from the sky, dark fires burning behind them, and Vanguard raised his outstretched palm, opening and closing it multiple times. With each closing motion of his palm, the large meteors compressed, until they were little more than pellets in the air. Flinging his hand forward, the small pellets whisked through the air, moving with all of the terrifying force of the original attack, but now compressed and ever so deadly, as they drove themselves at the weak points he had identified in Forte's code.

As Vanguard makes his speech, Forte's blood red eyes glance to the sky. He hovers back a few yards in the blink of an eye in order to center himself benearth the onslaught and returns his gaze to Vanguard while his legendary defensive measure, the Life Aura, rises around his body. As Forte holds his gaze on his target, he allows the full payload of Dark Meteors to impact, each one shattering as it drops on the dark being.
Forte: I will tell you as soon as I'm faced with it, tactician.
With a blinding quick-draw, Forte raises both arms from his cloak and reveals his unique busters. He fires off a single burst of bright yellow energy that speeds forward at a respectable speed, but with nothing of particular merit behind it.

Vanguard.EXE
Vanguard watched as the defense flared around Forte, the aura pulsing with power as each of the meteors disintegrated into it. Watching carefully, he noted that the aura fluctuated more prominently when the offense was designed to pierce it.
So that was it. When the powerful aura was threatened, Forte's defensive measures compensated. It was a powerful defense, worthy of a powerful offensive measure. The little yellow bolt of energy to follow surprised him, as he could see the power within it, and note that it was far too small. He could allow himself to get hit with that without damaging himself too heavily. That would, however, prove dangerous if he allowed it too often.
Slotting in a Hard Body, Vanguard raised his natural defenses and remained resolute as the bolt of energy struck him, waiting to see if this would prove detrimental. While no immediate downsides were noticed, he knew that no attack was without purpose.
If the defensive measure that Forte relied on most was the aura, then he would have to pressure this defensive measure to its limits. No matter how powerful it was, he would find a way to destroy it.
He started off with pressuring it as much as possible, all at once. Slotting in his North Wind, Vanguard summoned a great gust of wind that would, ideally, pick up the aura and carry it away. Then, he began his offensive, his coils spinning once again to line up another set of chips to charge. One chip flying into the air, Vanguard grabbed the chip and flung it, the dark chip transforming into a DarkKunai mid-flight. Unless his defense was like Magnolia's, even this simple strike would get through.
The meteors still fell all around them, but, Vanguard forced them through a different pair of reticles he had hanging in the air, augmenting their properties ever so slightly. Now, the only thing Forte had to protect him was his aura - and there were no chances of it surviving each of every hit. Perhaps he put too much trust into his second most powerful assault, but, he knew he could trust it to annihilate most defenses. If not this one, then, he still had one more trick left.
Crafting a reticle in front of his cannon, Vanguard loaded a chip in and crushed it, the Air Sword grafting itself onto his arm. Using his darklight verniers, Vanguard broke down the sword itself and condensed the piercing winds onto his fists, as his eyes honed in on the reticles he had around Forte. Daring his next assault, Vanguard dashed forward, slotting in an additional two chips as he closed the gap between him and his target.
Getting up into the original Navi's comfort zone, Vanguard suddenly split into three, the flames of their fists condensed into hair-fine beams of energy as they each began their flurry upon Forte, the three each striking twice, the movements deliberate but fast and debilitating, hoping to catch the original Navi off guard even once.

Forte remains hovering in place, looking down to Vanguard in silence as the tactician attempts to formulate a plan. The first move of choice was the ancient North Wind technique in an attempt to remove the Life Aura. The issue with this tactic became apparent as the surge of wind is met with a frigid burst from the direction of the original Navi, rendering it useless. While this happens, Forte now looks up into the sky and narrows his gaze. Rather than allowing his aura to absorb the damage, Forte actually moves out of the way, seeming to teleport around the field as black after-images follow his apparent movements. As this continues, Vanguard would see Forte flinch slightly shortly after evading one of the masses of black fire from the heavens as the Dark Kunai naturally bypasses all of his defenses, but its effect is hardly note-worthy in the grand scheme of the fight and elicits no noteworthy reaction or retaliation. The finish to this leg of Vanguard's assault would see Forte's eyes narrow even more in annoyance as he's slashed repeatedly by Vanguard's blade while still evading the meteors, quickly discovering that the tactician's titanic power is indeed strong enough to shatter is legendary defensive measure.
The nature of this fight was obviously already beginning to annoy the original Navi, but his actions do not betray this fact, as evidenced by his next move; another swift reveal of his busters, and another burst that travels in a straight line; still nothing worthy of the legend that this Navi allegedly poses.

Vanguard.EXE
Vanguard grins as he watches Forte's defense break from the force of his blows. Even as the powerful navi was able to recall his defense, he had the satisfaction of knowing that Forte was pressured by his offensive; pressured enough to need to recall his legendary aura.
Seeing the Kunai fly directly through the first navi's defenses further emboldened him, and Vanguard prepared to capitalize. Noting that North Wind was ineffective, he decided it best to not worry about it again, and pressed forward with what he knew: The Aura could be pressured, and, given time, it would falter. All defenses did. Another thing of note was that, just like Rosso, his unique offensive measure, his reticles, did not seem to stick to Forte as easily.
With the sheen on his body from his previous Hard Body, he was able to take the brunt of the attack, once again, without any major detriments. He was unsure what the original navi was looking for, and could only hope he would not be giving it to him. Instead, he would look to prove that he was worth anything, and that he could get done what he needed to. If he proved to just be an annoying gnat, then, he would accomplish that. If he proved to be a threat worth watching or deleting, then, he would accomplish that, too.
He wanted to test if his minimum firepower was enough to pressure the aura at all. Putting barely any force into his offensive, Vanguard dove forward once again, coming at Forte from all sides as his burning pyre rained from the heavens. Aiming another two-shot strike at Forte, Vanguard tested how Forte would respond, and if he needed more power to support his assault.

Once again, Forte allows his aura to handle the power of Vanguard's onslaught, in particular allowing its natural defensive power to outright absorb Vanguard's non-boosted attacks; a fact that makes Forte visibly scowl in discontentment.
Vanguard would find himself robbed of the opportunity to continue with another follow up, because at this point Forte hovers back in order to build distance between himself and the tactician, looking on with the same scowl that he'd displayed earlier. It was obvious that Vanguard had finally earned Forte's ire for some reason, and at this point he was done playing games.
In silence, Forte raises his arm and bends his elbow so that his open palm faces the sky. At the same time he grips his raised fore-arm with his other hand. In this position, Forte's arm surges quietly with pulses of bright yellow energy as the Original Navi charges up his next attack. This charge only takes a moment and is followed up by Forte reaching both of his busters forward for his first true attack of the battle.
With the resounding cackle of machine-gun fire, Forte lets fly a volley of air-shots that explode forward in waves, seeming to form not only from Forte's busters but also behind him as he blankets the entire network in destructive power, causing it to quake as each shot materializes and explodes forward. While the attack lacked the sheer earth-shattering power of Vanguard's onslaught, its power was undeniable as the entire network floods with a cascading barrage of pure force.
