Nightshade jumped up at the sound of the tree branch falling. He didn't expect what happened next. Why was she here? It was dangerous to come in Netopia.
"I-inori!?"
The Juuka looked down at himself as she spoke. First time someone had found him intimidating. But it wasn't the right people he wished to be scared of his form.
"It's...a long story. Alot has happened since...last time we saw eachother."
He gently hopped forward towards her with his feline trait letting him not make a sound. Just like old times. He shyly approached, trying to calm her down.
"W-why did you come here? It's very dangerous. Are you ok?" He softly spoke with a vivid look of concern in his blood red eyes. Even with the mask covering his face Inori could make out some signs that indicated a rather heavy blush under the Greiga shaped helmet.
Nightshade would stop right in front of her, noticing she grew a little taller since last time. With his tail wagging slowly at the new arrival, he spoke again. "I, uuh. I appear to have become a Juuka. A beast navi. One of the very few navis in history to be able to wield the Cybeasts' powers. I don't know how exactly it happened...but right now I'm what's left of Greiga. A beast in navi form. Out there there could be someone just like me, but with traits akin to cybeast Falzar. I...also seem to be the second Juuka in existance able to control myself and not go into murderous rampages every time a Beast Out happens for some odd reason as well."
The Juuka slowly reached out to her hand with his claw, gently holding it. "I may look different on the outside, but I'm still my old self on the inside. There is nothing to fear. I won't even dream of hurting you."
A flash of purple flames and Nightshade was back to his regular old self since...a good while. Back into his grey armor and black catsuit with his trademark green marking covering him everywhere. He sheepishly looked away, struck by embarassment. "It's...r-really nice seeing you a-again..." He mumbled while his feet paw kicked away some dirt. "I'm sorry I s-startled you."

As soon as his hand made contact with hers, she instead grabbed it... and threw him against a tree nearby their position. She then reached out to grab his neck with her right hand and positioned her blade under his chin. Her tone was close to a shout at this point. Each sentence she spoke she seemed to tighten her grip on him.
"Y-you're a.. a monster! I knew it.. I knew that you having Shadow element meant you were of no good! I should have ended you when I had the chance! But now..!!"
Tears began to overwhelm Inori's eyes, streaming down her face and hitting the ground with a quiet 'plop'. The immense blaze of her fury was quickly quelled with the presence of sadness.
"... the Prophecy is real afterall.."
Inori released Nightshade and allowed him to fall onto his rear end with his back against the the tree. She had dropped her arm to hold her katana by her side, but Inori looked straight down at the ground now. Her voice riddled with sniffles and sobs.
"A-a couple days ago.. my religious or-order contacted my operator. They asked to reassign me to a new order that had formed on an island off the coast; The Order of Prophecy. I sp-spoke to them--or rather her, as it was a singular female Navi who was in charge--and she told me that she will bring the Prophecy by her own hands, an-and it will depend on how she meets the world. I asked her about you, and she told me you had succumbed to the ravag-ravageness in your heart, that your desires had consumed you..."
Inori dropped her blade and fell to her knees on Nightshade's right side, holding both hands up to her face as she continued to cry and letting her katana fall flat onto the ground.
"Why.. why would you do this to your-yourself.. All I can sense from you is pain.. loneliness.."
Inori leaned onto Nightshade's right shoulder with her head, facing away from him with her eyes still covering as she continued to sob on his shoulder, but released one more sentence before the waterworks continued.
"I let you live so you wouldn't end up like me, dangit..!!"

Nightshade stood silent for a few moments, before letting out a longh sigh. He moved up with his hands to his helmet. One click and he slowly pulled it off, revealing short fluffly jet black hair. He settled his helmet on his lap. Then, he reached for the bridge of his nose. He hesitated, scratching it a little, before gripping the black mask. Pulling it down, it revealed his face for what could very well be the first time ever, as well as a deep blush. The elastic cloth rested around his neck while he allowed his hand to fall back down. "...Life doesn't always roll how we would like. Hell, I doubt it ever does. But one thing I always believe in is that no matter what happens, nothing is set in stone. While it may be true, I may be nothing but rage and loneliness, I chose it with a purpose."He turned over to face her. "Darkness has many shades, remember? I dangle at the edge. At the nightshade. When the sky is dark but the sunlight hasn't died down. While it yeah, it would be real easy for me to simply succumb to my emotions and fade a way into nothing but a mindless beast, something prevents me from doing it. Because even if everything around me is dark, there's still that feeble light at the horizon I always desperatly try to reach towards. The things that matter most to me. Friends, family...you."
He let out a small embarassed cough, trying to muster up some courage and the right words. "I want to make sure that light doesn't fade away. If I suffer because of this, so be it. It's a necessary sacrifice I did in order to protect who I care about. They made me into what I am, and I won't allow this unjust life to take their own light away as it might do it with me. Besides, even though life looks grim, I have a little ray of sunshine right here beside me that always helps this lil cat remember to remain on the right path."The juuka chuckled. "Sure, she's a little rash and impuslive, but she does it for my well being. It pains my heart knowing I could be the source of her pain. Because...because...b-because I love her. Since the moment she met me and then tried to kill me. When I was there, kicking her cannon in the air to make her miss...I have never seen such pure light before. Boundless, shining brighter than the stars.
It called to me. Yet I also saw that something else was holding it captive. And that something made her suffer. I promised to myself to become strong and break the chains of her heart, yet I only added another one to the group."He leaned against the tree, his face beyond red, trying to hide the fact that he was dying with embarassment. "I just never seem to do one thing right, do I?"

Overtime of Nightshade speaking, Inori's cries died down. At some point she had instead moved her hands to cradle herself.
"If.. if you really mean that.."
Inori continued to speak without looking at him, but paused to stand up looking away from all of them, clear her eyes one more time, and dematerialize her blade, causing the area on her Navi mark to return to normal.
"Find me in Velvet Town. Join me and the Prophet, so that I can protect you, and you can protect the things you treasure."
With this, a blaze of white flames surrounded Inori, but she turned back and smiled as she said:
"I'm in love with you as well."
And as quickly as she entered, she was gone.

There was something that they would notice that had changed again. They were able to leave Netopia now. Something must have happened to the lockdown or quarantine, whichever they preferred, but it had fallen as Inori exited. Regardless of the reasons and for better or worse, they were able to exit Netopia and go where they wanted at their leisure again.

*Embera was taken aback by the approach of the newcomers. Edge was as energetic as always, and was a happy sight. However, this new girl was something else altogether. Before she could really react, the situation had defused itself. So it was some kind of His/Her fight-romance thing? She was no stranger to this archetype, remembering her falling out of love with a certain dream-driven ghost of her past. Still, his strength capped out, and she realized she cared about actions and ability more than dreams. Looking on with a half-cocked smirk as she fashioned what remained of her armor into a core-guard and helmet, she couldn't help but find this whole thing amusing. Perhaps this little kitten would be interesting. She had to make her case first, however.*
Embera: How curious...She attacked you and you didn't rip her head from her shoulders. I know about people using "love" as a catalyst, but this is good. If you don't mind, I'd like to accompany you if you plan on following her instructions. You pique my interests, "Juuka," and your current situation is fascinating to me. Maybe when we're done, you can come by my home and see if we can't hone those claws of yours.
*Juuka, a word with such power in its very name. Just thinking about this navi having such power gave Embera a shiver of excitement. If he really was Greiga's Juuka, and in such control over its power, then perhaps it would be just the person to train. After all, the net needs more Titans to fight with or against, as protecting The Heap gets so boring when there's never a threat she can't handle.*

Nightshade pulled the mask over his face again and wore his helmet before looking up at Embera. "Eh...she's always like that. A good soul. One I fell in love with, despite even her strange antics."
The cat navi hopped back on his paws and tip tapped over to the lady. He could feel her power. She was strong. And she had experience. Maybe training with her was the nest step into becoming stronger.
"I gladly accept your offer. It's...a great honor. I would need all the strength I can muster if I want to protect who I care about, as well as try and fix this whole situation."
The little juuka was hopeful. If all went well he would get his place in the NIA back, fix the situation that happened and be able to protect people around him. Without noticing, the little cat navi was wagging his tail at Embera.
