Glint supposed this was to be expected. So he turned his attention to the pod that was opening now instead. And what came from it was different than the blaze that Rosso would so regularly incinerate life with. This was dangerous in its own way especially, the man moving to the front as a white and yellow field sparked to life around them. The napalm stuck to it, the bombardment slamming into it enough where Magnolia narrowed her eyes to see through the smoke that coated the field now. When it settled down it fell, letting the napalm hit the ground and eat through it instead around them as the fires raged on. Magnolia had a pretty wide grin on her face instead, practically giddy from anticipation.
"Well now, isn't this a surprise!? The man who led the charge against Forte himself! Possibly the most volatile weapon around! The infamous, yet often forgotten Atomic Bomber... NapalmMan. He left us quite the present indeed... It just fills you with joy, right, Glint?"
The one called Glint was focused on NapalmMan, his visage clear. The other twelve seemed to have some sort of shadow stuck to them that kept them out of sight. They had a form, but their form wasn't discernible unlike Magnolia and Glint themselves. Glint towered at ten feet even, making Magnolia look positively small in comparison. He was a silver with no blemishes, having a spike that extended from his foot and elongated shoulders. His back extended back a bit as well, having at least eight thrusters in the extension. His face was slightly elongated as well, only bearing what appeared to be a screen that the amber light of his eye shone through with one horn extending forward. In his hands was what looked like fairly simplistic rifles, both about five feet long on their own.
"It does. I never expected to see him here of all places. I would be overjoyed to face the original war machine himself. It's almost destiny for us to do so. But a query before we begin: are you allied with Gate now, or do you still stand alone?"
Magnolia's left arm started to spark to life, the weapon at the ready but not being called up. She didn't intend to jump straight into it. She could understand what Glint wanted here too. After all, it was too fitting for him to get to face NapalmMan of all people.

NapalmMan's eyes glow through the chaos, his gaze looking to both Navis as he stands at the ready for what may come. He listens to what they have to say, but one thing comes to mind first and foremost.
NapalmMan: Good question, but one for you first.
Suddenly, a volley of burning vulcan-shots resound behind Glint and Magnolia from a set of turrets that rose up from the ground, each bullet searing with the same burning power of the flamethrower and bombs just moments before. NapalmMan wastes no time at this point, a split second later he launches his own volley of vulcan-fire from his twin cannons, only this vulcan sports far more power and causes far larger explosions of liquid napalm with each round. This is followed by a sweeping flamethrower across both Glint and Magnolia, spreading even more napalm across the field as he does so.
NapalmMan: Why did you leave me an opening?
With both Navis already under assault, NapalmMan raises his cannons, bringing the spewing stream of burning napalm up in a wave of glowing plasma and chaos. The room fills with napalm like a sea leaving behind burning pools everywhere.... as a cross-hairs suddenly appears on Glint.
NapalmMan: Tag.
Having moved along the stream of fire, NapalmMan is now standing at point-blank distance behind Glint with a full, defense-breaking lock on him. The fire Navi's eyes narrow as he suddenly leaps back from his position and launches. A single, black bomb fires out of NapalmMan's right cannon, arcing upwards and landing directly where the giant Navi stands. As the attack lands, its true nature comes to light; in a manner suiting such an old-fashioned war machine, the weapon itself is one of ancient technique, but frighteningly effective power; an Ultra Bomb.
The weapon makes land-fall, exploding in an ear-splitting, area-wide burst as explosions rock the entire network to its core. By this point bits of the ceiling are beginning to cave in from NapalmMan's assault. All the while, the Storming Bomber watches through the smoke, using the nearly inextinguishable infernos that he leaves in his wake as a way to cloak his movements.

The vulcan shots soared from behind with lethal accuracy. But neither Magnolia nor Glint turned to face them. Rather, Glint began to move forward as they came towards them. As the carnage unfolded, Magnolia was still in position, fully unharmed at the time but whistling at the results as she moved her arm in a wide sweep in the air.
"The answer to your question--"
Nothing came of it right now, simply smiling while considering that their opponent truly was a walking weapon. The explosions had done little to slow Glint down, the man plowing through them and flames alike as he made his way toward his enemy. And as the crosshairs aimed at him, his left rifle was aimed at the Atomic Bomber. But he hadn't pulled the trigger yet. Instead he held and just as the bomber jumped back he fired. The shot itself was far different than any rifle shot had the right to be, soaring through the air and missing the Storming Bomber just then. He had missed because he glanced up at the bomb, but the results of his own shot was no different than the Ultra Bomb that just detonated. Both explosions rocked the network itself, the smoke engulfing them.
"We didn't."
A cursor had formed on the Storming Bomber now as well. From the smoke came an explosive volley of shots all equal to the one that he fired before at first. But each successive shot grew stronger and faster, tearing through the area and all homing in on him. However from the ceiling the same destructive fire was unleashed, Glint being up there now as he fired before he kicked off, blurring from sight with an extreme burst of speed that brought him to the right of the Storming Bomber instead as he continued to fire. His shoulders opened up while he did, launching missiles out of them the splintered off, becoming a swarm as they carpet bombed the area itself with no regard to his allies in the area as well. Though she was unharmed through it all too, content with watching for now.

Fast, faster, fastest... this was all the game that NapalmMan had played for literal years. He'd never personally reached the title of fastest by any means, but he'd long since learned how to deal with Navis like this. The first shot passes him, but he'd already expected what was to come next. Bracing himself, he rides the wave of the explosive bullet, tumbling to the ground and into the blast of his own UltraBomb as he does so. This is when the cursor shows up.
NapalmMan: Crud.
With little else to do, Napalm lays down yet another swift flamethrower burst, setting the entire area ablaze before himself. He then takes off, teleporting mid-step over to the hardware affixed to the back wall. Using it as cover, he makes his way deeper and deeper into the machinery as the rockets and explosive shots dig deeper and deeper. This is when Glint appears before NapalmMan, shoulders open. This was a move that he already recognized.
NapalmMan: Neat trick.
At the same time, NapalmMan's own shoulder panels open and a swarm of rockets fire off like meteors.
NapalmMan: At least it was when I invented it.
The rockets, though less powerful than Glint's own, intercept and shoot down the explosives before they can take down NapalmMan, but the raw force of this assault also pushes him back towards the center of the room, where he stands braced for what would come next, looking around as the carpet fire continues to break down the network.
NapalmMan: Oh, by the way.
NapalmMan thrusts his right cannon upward and to the side suddenly, shooting out a single Napalm Bomb at Magnolia, allowing it to explode in a plume of fire on impact.
NapalmMan: Pay more attention to your allies.
Despite his decades of experience in battle giving him a clear edge in terms of quick thinking in this fight, NapalmMan quickly realizes that the behemoth before him has a little something... extra going for him in the war-mech field. And it was time to test that theory.
Gaining a bit more distance, NapalmMan breaks stance and holds both cannons forward. In a massive, area-wide spread he releases another volley of bombs. However, he does not stop with the simple five that he normally releases. Instead, he continues and continues, causing the lighting in the area to become more and more filled with orange light and smoke as the heat rises to extreme levels. Soon the entire network is a bon-fire of amazing proportions, with napalm literally flowing like magma into the cracks in the floor. At this point, NapalmMan takes another step back and surveys the situation. His eyes flash red and a cursor appears on Glint again, causing NapalmMan suddenly charge up and release a power not native to himself, a power which causes his entire body to suddenly shift to a deep teal-green tint for a moment. Then, from rapidly opening voids in the ceiling, a set of deep purple meteors begin to fall with screaming flames, each one deadly targeted on Glint and each one coming at speeds that easily rival Glint himself. The assault passively continues as NapalmMan looks on, still studying the situation as it unfolds.

In a battle of firepower against firepower, warfare against warfare, which could pull it off better? Magnolia's right hand was on her chin as she thought about it, before the green flash from her earlier movement became apparent as the napalm bomb crashed into it. The plume of fire landed around her, but she lifted her hand up, a void opening up behind her. The others knew what it was for, entering inside of it as it closed and left the two of them against the Storming Bomber.
"I'm not opposed to a bit of two on one. Rather used to it, even."
Her first move likely tipped off what was going to happen next, her left arm blurring about around her. Like before, no attacks were made readily apparent. After all he was an experienced veteran. Seeing a trick once was more than enough to tip him off to how it functioned in some sense of the term. She did release an actual strike this time however, swinging again as the orange light blasted out and slammed into the turrets that were set up earlier. Glint, however, hadn't pursued him through the explosive force their rockets created. He had instead aimed both rifles, returning fire as their world was engulfed in the mayhem of war as both released bombardments. He had stopped firing as the cursor appeared, this time aiming one of the rifles skyward at the opening voids. Rather than release a rapid flood of shots, this time a single teal one was released. It stopped in the air not long after it was fired before it expanded outward, acting as a sort of worm hole that actually hadn't stopped the meteors approach.
As they were going quickly enough to rival Glint's speed, a hole that sucked in something like that wouldn't actually stop them. Not with how fast he was going. If anything it only managed to slow them due to his magnifications that he applied to that first shot that was now followed by a crimson round. This was the one that would be made to meet the attack next, detonating as the plasma charge held in place. Ordinarily this would be shot into a target and then continuously destroy them, but it worked to halt the meteors from advancing for now just as well. His left rifle was aimed at NapalmMan himself, as his figure became as three just then. They weren't clones as the other two looked especially hazy, blurry even. Mirages? The blurs shot off to the side, unleashing a hailstorm of shots at NapalmMan that were all too real. While the one that was not blurred fired off a blue shot next, this one being a literal vortex that was made to blow NapalmMan to the other end of the room... along with the fire, napalm, and magma that was in the same path as it was picked up and sent along with it. Around this time, both of the blurs became less blurry as even the one that was standing in place had moved, kicking back this time as the other two were suddenly beside him again, his shoulders opening once again with his back to the wall.
"Sound advice. Then let's see how you perform against this?"
In a fashion all too familiar, they spread their arms out as well. And then moved them along, spraying everything along the path ahead. This time instead of missiles that were released from the shoulders, data-erasing lasers were blasted out like they were released from some sort of cannon. Magnolia had jumped upward then, passing through the attack that Glint had set earlier just as it faded out and the meteors would be allowed to pass through. And all around her was a cyclone of blades, the motions from earlier lingering around her and catching the meteors as they would descend as the radius continued to expand. The end result would be Glint's assault covering the ground area while Magnolia's stretched out to cover the air.

There it was, exactly what the Storming Bomber had been looking for. Their natures, their casual take on battle, it all made sense now.
NapalmMan slides his eyes over to Magnolia. If he had a typical face, he'd be smiling knowingly at this point.
NapalmMan: Lady, you're only kidding yourself, it's been 2v1 from the start.
Preparation but no action. Either she was just bluffing or she was preparing for the opportune moment. Better to prepare for the later and hope for the former. But right now, the big guy's winding up for another shot at it. NapalmMan knew in an instant what the mirages were, as he'd literally fought that exact technique many times. He knew it well, and already knew how to handle it;
Just don't let them hit you!
Last time it was the machinery at the back of the room, but now at the front of the network, there were very few things that could be used for cover. In fact, pretty much nothing, save...
In a flash, NapalmMan takes off at a dead run towards glint, using the brief moment when the behemoth was between firing to gain some ground. At this moment, he raises a deep red barrier around himself and begins firing bombs just in front of himself that rise into pillars of fire. Between these two defensive measures, NapalmMan manages to get past the hallway where he'd been standing. As soon as he clears the opening, he dives behind the cells that he'd just emerged from just in time to see them almost instantly totaled by the onslaught. Well, so much for that plan. With another dive, NapalmMan goes for the computer on the other side of the room, but is quickly knocked back down the hallway with a grunt at the vortex. Tumbling on his side, he slides his foot around and quickly re-gains his stance, at this point seeing the next plan beginning to unfold. Out of options and beginning to ware down, the Storming Bomber thrusts a single cannon forward just in time to be grazed by a laser. With a yell of pain, he's knocked to the side and into another laser, burning his inactive cannon in the process. The first laser stunned and took him off of his target, but the second laser brought him back. Just as he sees Magnolia on her way through the attack, a strategy that he himself used frequently, a spark ignites at the end of his cannon and his return-fire begins. Not a bomb, not a flame-thrower, at this point NapalmMan releases a concentrated beam of white-hot energy straight forward in a small line. This small line then suddenly breaks outward in a cataclysmic, all-encompassing beam of white hot radiation. The attack nearly fills the entire network with nuclear power as Glint's own beams are muted under the sheer pressure of this, the first special attack ever devised by Navi Kind; NapalmMan's Nuclear Blast.
The beam continues to burn away in a cascade of destruction as Magnolia appears above with a bladed weapon. And this is the moment that NapalmMan shows a skill that those without true and deep knowledge of his past would likely be surprised by given the Storming Bomber's obvious combat configuration. While still releasing his blast, with his free cannon, NapalmMan quickly reaches to the side and forms a blade of flames, clashing swords with Magnolia as a surprisingly proficient level.
NapalmMan: Ever heard of Zero?
Due to her raw speed, NapalmMan couldn't help but take a few glancing blows from Magnolia's blade, though he managed to keep it at a minimum due to his own skill with his blazing sword. All the while the beam of the Nuclear blast continues to hold out blanketing the network where Glint stands in sheer damage.
NapalmMan: You've almost got his speed, but you do lack one thing...
NapalmMan, realizing that his attack would have to end soon, unplants his feet and allows the force of the nuclear force to rocket him back. He slams against the front wall of the area with a grunt, barely evading Magnolia as his ultimate attack finally comes to an end. Of couse now it didn't matter.
NapalmMan: His finesse.
The flames around him die down a bit after the blast, and NapalmMans position is made clear; he now stands in the teleporter at the front of the network that the other Navis had entered through. The Storming Bomber had done his best to protect the teleporter from Glint's onslaught, and had been positioning himself closer and closer to it from the start.
NapalmMan: Give me a call when you're not using someone else's powers to make you virtually invulnerable.
That last attack on Magnolia's barrier gave it away. NapalmMan had seen immunity before, and that was not immunity. It perfectly deflected one of his guard-breaking attacks and didn't even phase her. Not to mention it seemed so passive that it almost couldn't be innate. This was beyond what Navis are normally capable of... assuming these two even are Navis. Either way, at that moment NapalmMan had realized that he stood no chance. Even if he could beat Glint into submission, the behemoth probably had access to the same defenses, and would keep himself from being deleted at the end. No, at times the best strategy is to get out and re-group.
With a flash and a wave of his cannon, NapalmMan disappears from sight... just as Glint's laser barrage breaks through the remains of the Nuclear Blast, totaling the teleporter in a fantastic show of power and force.

It was remarkable how adept he was at warfare. But they had expected as much. They hadn't seen much of him in so many years, but they knew about him. Tales of his grand feats and standing. He was practically bar none the most powerful ordinary navi around. But that spurred Glint on rather than discourage him. Even as the Nuclear Blast was unleashed, he had continued to fight back against it. That was what left Magnolia and the Storming Bomber time to engage. She wasn't suprised that he was skilled at swordplay all the same, but as soon as he said the name it had caused the female to lose her smile for once. Her eyes had narrowed ever so slightly and it wasn't a pout or anything like that. It was definitely annoyance that was on her face and even in her tone when she replied.
"I've heard of that stain, yes."
But then he managed to get his last shot out before she could reach him as he let himself be carried by his own force instead. But then she noticed a bit late what his actual agenda had been once the fighting got too heated. He was going to retreat instead and have Glint wipe out the only way they would be able to pursue him all in one move. That was why he wanted to get her to move and take part in the fight as well: so she wouldn't be in the position to stop it too. Crafty on his part. So she touched down on the ground instead as it was totaled, sighing as she scratched her head. Well that had been a total bust. He got to talk big and run away while he was at it. She could understand how the Pyroclasm felt a bit now.
"This is why I want to fight all those swordsmen. Once I cut them all up there won't be any chatter about how I'm not as good as one of them. Except using Zero is a cheat card because he's gone. That's irritating. At least we kept this within your current time limit."
"And without showing much. Keep them guessing and assuming for as long as possible. This still had merit of its own. You know what to do next."
Glint's single eye seemed to gleam then, his shoulders closing as the 'mirages' vanished. He stepped back, the same void that had opened for the others opening for him as he stepped inside and departed. Magnolia spent the time looking over the wasted lab some more, knowing they would send in some others later to clear out what could still be salvaged. But her smile hadn't returned yet, still having that flash of irritation on her face before she closed her eyes and sighed, moving her left arm to cut in a crescent. That was her own exit, closing behind her. This had managed to have merit all its own, but left her feeling annoyed all the same too.
