--An unknown girl appears searching for the ONB Headquarters. Her only origin location traces back to Creamland.
Since creation, Mary.EXE looked up to the ONB and their wondrous actions. She wanted to be a part of the cause, to lead people to protection from crime and darkloids.
Mary.EXE was originally created by Crush's old professor, and given to his granddaughter, Sophia. Sophia was the child of a military family, and with her father often gone and mother always workings, Sophia grew extremely lonely. Having a NetNavi was her escape from the countless baby sitters that couldn't handle her. Mary.EXE, however, never got to venture farther than Creamland, where Sophia's family was currently staying.
One day, as Sophia chatted with Mary.EXE while Mary was plugged into Creamland's net, her mother busted through the front door hysterically crying. She screamed at her, blaming her for something, and dragged Sophia outside. The last thing Mary.EXE helplessly heard was the car starting, and speeding off. Mary.EXE waited for hours for Sophia to return. The hours turned to days and the days turned to months as Mary.EXE helplessly wandered Creamland. Getting help from the ONB was futile at the time, for it seemed that they were completely ignoring her, bringing us back to the present where she finally arrived to the ONB HQ herself for a demanded interview.--
<Chapter 2>
--However, the new hire for the ONB wasn't Mary.EXE. In fact, Mary.EXE had been reported missing along with Sophia and her mother by Clyde Fortua, Sophia's father, when he returned home from his last military operation. He immediately sent Craft.EXE to the public networks for the first time to get to the bottom of it while he searched for his family, but he has yet to learn that when Altair entered this world, she took Mary's life and lived it as her own to blend in. It was a dark deal Mary had made with Rosario, so in the end, he believes she has only herself to blame, for now he has acquired Altair's servitude; another lost soul just trying to complete what's been long broken--
