A large, well built and maintained building settled near the heart of Element City. The building itself is made from white limestone with golden trim and details, while the inside is made to be highly refined and of high-class and standard. Small indoor gardens and fountains are built into the center of the bank, with teller windows facing one direction and offices facing the other.
While this is a story topic, and is usable for RP, Electopian First International has an actual use as an actual bank.
Here, you are allowed to apply for an actual Zenny loan from the bank, complete with interest rates and a due-date. Note that taking out a loan IS a bit expensive, and you can only borrow so much, but the ability for a cash-advance can be very nice. You may also open up a bank account and gain interest on your investment, allowing for a monthly source of funds.
Loans
The formula for all loans is as follows:
(Amount*Rate)*(Time [in months]*.25)
That may look scary, but don't worry too much: we'll make the calculations and tell you the payback amount and ask for you to confirm if you're approved.
Rates are based on your Navis version, and are as follows:
V1: 25%
V2: 24%
V3: 23%
V4: 22%
V5: 21%
V6: 20%
V7: 19%
V8: 18%
V9: 17%
V10: 16%
V11+: 15%
Note that the Zenny loaned must be spent on the Navi who borrows it. This money MUST be shown in your stats separately.
Time and amount are negotiable, though the period must be at least 5 months, and the amount must always be coverable via collateral. You are allowed to borrow a maximum of 2,000z beyond your collateral. If a loan goes into delinquency, then the collateral put up will be taken. If the amount is beyond collateral, then EXP will be taken instead at a rate of 1:1.
When the loan is issued, a due-date will be assigned and posted in this topic. if the loan is not paid back in-full by the end of the due date, you will end up losing Zenny, items, EXP, and/or anything else to pay this back. EXP cannot be used as collateral unless otherwise stated. Even if only one Zenny is due, the punishment for going past the due-date will be performed in-full. SO BE CAREFUL.
Due dates range from 5 months to 12 months in the future.
Now, there is one variable. If you go into delinquency, you CAN take the Navi in question and RP with the bank owner in an attempt to extend the period. This will likely be a hard sale, and will VERY likely end up invoking additional fees, but it can beat having everything taken from you in order to pay off your loan.
Savings Accounts
The second use for the bank is the ability to open a bank account with a Navi in order to claim a return.
Before we get into this, you CANNOT put any zenny in your account or open an account while you have a loan active.
In order to open a bank account, a Navi must make an initial deposit of at least 1,000z. Should the account be below a balance of 1,000z for one full month, then all remaining zenny will be returned to the account holder and the account will be closed.
Once that is out of the way, the real meat of the bank account begins. The Navi who owns the account is allowed to place his/her own funds into said account for the sake of gaining a return. Deposits must be made in multiples of 1,000z, and can be made a max of once per week. Once the funds are in place, the individual will be allowed to claim semi-monthly interest payments based on the principal held within the bank. Payments may be claimed on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Again, interest rates are based on the Navi's version, and they are as follows:
V1+: 1%
V5+: 2%
V10+: 4%
Every month you are expected to make a post to claim your interest. You may either withdraw it, or keep it in the bank and allow it to accrue more interest for the following month. A bank account is allowed a maximum of 50,000z in funds.
Interest may be claimed on the first and fifteenth of each month. If the account is opened between the 8th to the 15th, or the 22nd to the 31st, then the following payment period cannot be claimed . If a month is skipped, then the interest cannot be claimed. A withdrawal on your principal may be made once per week, though only the amount currently shown on the date of the interest payment will be calculated.
Only one account may be held per member. Navis may share the account within the member's account.
Zenny Transfer
In conjunction with the effects mentioned above, zenny may be transferred from one of a member's Navis to another through this system. A maximum of 8,000z per month may be transferred using this effect.
Robbery
Think you're going to rob the bank? Feel free. If you can successfully pull off a heist, you will be given quite a bit of Zenny. However, the bank IS guarded at all times, and you will be marked as wanted. Think very carefully about this one.
Note that you can't make a one-post in/out. In order to successfully claim any cash, you MUST defeat the guards/employees of the bank in order to claim your winnings. Try posting a quick hold-up and all you get is your name on the wanted list. Even if you don't get away with all of it, you may take home SOME cash for your trouble even if you lose. You will be given the opportunity to escape after each battle you fight.
If you attempt to rob the bank, note that any Navi involved will never be allowed to open an account or take out a loan again unless special permission is given to that Navi in-story. Beyond this, any existing account will be closed, with all Zenny lost. Trying to rob the bank again will involve a much harder set of battles, so always keep that in mind.
Black List
Navis on the black-list are in poor standing with the bank. Before they can use any services, they must first make amends.
