Electopia
This Island nation boasts a uniquely robust network and is a center for net activity the world over. Much of the Electopian network has been developed around Element City, a metropolis mirroring some you might find in the real world. Radiating out from the city in the four cardinal directions are areas dominated by the elements of Fire, Aqua, Wood, and Electricity.
"The Heap"
Located to the north of Element City, an industrial area known as The Heap makes its home. An early addition to Electopia's network, the Heap suffers some from poor planning, causing its roads to be small and its alleys plentiful. A functional maze of a town, the Heap manages to stay around providing many raw and processed materials to the other areas as well as managing the human's industrial endeavors as well. The Heap also features a thriving community looking to build and test new battlechips and "plug and play" navi armaments. On the outskirts, what looks to be a volcano sits, smoking from the top. Built into the side of this towering mass of magma sits a large complex, known as the Hygen Reactor, which supplies the area's heat generated power sources and supplement the Power Plant in The Current. Mostly inhabited by Fire navis, many navis which use predominately stone, metal, and break elements find themselves comfortable here as well.
“The Current”
To the east of Element City, there is a town known as the “The Current.” This town has the power plant that helps to provide power for all of Electopia. Rarely seeing sunlight, and dealing with near constant thunderstorms almost all the time, the “Electrician’s Tower” serves as the linchpin to energy production in The Current. Tall enough to reach into the clouds, absorbing lightning strike after lightning strike and funneling it into the complex below. The city sports electrified rails for cars and navis to glide and get transportation to and from. Wired head to toe with high tech buildings, built to absorb stray lightning and turn it into power. The Current also features the Electopian Grand Prix, where navis race in the domed arena for fame and fortune. The OEL Labs also make their home here for testing new navis capabilities and medical research, making use of the abundance of power to support their advanced systems.
"Bayside"
Nestled beside the Forest Network to the west of Element city, the beautiful aqua city of Bayside stands tall. Buildings of glass, with various water attractions and aqua affinity symbolizes the stature and luxury of this city. Located on the edge of the digital continent, Bayside sits on prime beach land, with enough room for a harbor into a immense sea of data as well as civilian beach space. In the center of town stands one of the largest water fountains on the net, optimized for entertainment. A building nearby is outfitted with a water slide leading into the massive fountain, allowing navis to use the stairs or other methods to get to the top and enjoy a ride down circling the whole building. Other attractions include Electopia's largest aquarium. Sitting opposite the harbor, the Bayside Aquarium is a tribute to human discovery of the ocean, even featuring tunnels spanning under the sea for navis unable to breath underwater to see the marvels of the ocean. Many navis work at the port or boat dock in town. Buildings and roads even have pathways for navis to travel by boat or jet-ski, including floating rivers unique to the area that allow navis to travel across the tops of buildings! Those that work in the offices help either monitor or work for the water plant that sits in the middle of Bayside, supplying Bayside and Element City its own brand of water based energy.
"Forest Net"
A network filled with trees, from large towering redwoods, to wide birch, to thick evergreens, there are trees as far as the eye can see. Located south of Element City, the vast forest is home to many mysteries and attractions. On the outskirts of the forest, trails and pathways for navis to run, bike and walk wind about. There are even trails up in the trees used for training, and others for navis’ recreation. Throughout the forest, there were many areas that are dark due to branches of the trees being so thick that they blocked out the light of the sun. In other areas, small clearings exist, often filled with other flora.
Some of these clearings were former battlegrounds between navis. A few areas decimated so badly that the area's self repair functions never finished. Towards the center of the forest sits a set of mysterious ruins. Known only for seeing the mass of data within, little light shines through this area, the redwoods knit so tightly that entrance seems all but impossible for anyone to get through. Sealed off, not one navi has been able to access this inner sanctum of the Forest Network. A few houses also dot the network, hidden away here and there. But it seems as if they have all been abandoned, some falling apart due to age, others seemingly torn asunder.
