Chat Box

The chat box is located at the bottom of the front page, it allows for near real-time chat while on the MMM (You have to push the "refresh" buttton located on the upper right-hand corner of the chat box to see if there are any new posts). Anyone can use it, but there are three rules that need to be followed to ensure everyone's enjoyment;


1: Obey the site rules!
While the chat box may not be a part of Proboards per-say, it IS located on this board, so all rules applied on Proboards and the MMM apply. Only rule less enforced will be spam for obvious reasons, though abusing this right will lead to a ban. Thats right, you CAN be banned from the chat box!

2: No impersonation!
This has been a common joke in the MMM chat... prople come on as other people and wreak havoc. While this may be funny, it won't be tolerated here.... I CAN look up past messages and check IPs, so I can/will find out if you've been impersonating someone.

3: No battles!
While I know it may be more convienient for some, I'm going to have to insist no battles take place in the chat box. The reasons for this rule are two-fold;
One: battles are long, and normaly involve massive strings of text, and there's a 200 character limit to each post!
Two: You can't be credited (EXP/Zenny) for your win/loss.

4: No spaming
Posting message after message can get really annoying to others... so please; unless you have good reason, keep it to a max of 3 C-box posts in a row.

Keep these four rules and you will be fine. If you suspect someone has broken any of these rules, please send a PM (Private Message) to me with what you feel was done, the name of the user who did it, and an approximate date/time-frame of when the offense happened and I will look into it.

...and last but not least, the most important rule of all, the one that has been stressed since the MMM was 1st formed:

Warrior is banned from the chat box untell Febuary 24th due to spaming after a warning.
