______________________NOTICE!!!_________________ This FAQ is used to give you an idea of how to create a strategy and what to look for on how to create it. Do not go and ask anybody else or even my self to create "your own" strategy. However it is advisable to ask Niall/Cloud or Raven if your custom abilities are legal. Also the strategies that I state in here belong to their original owners and it would be advised that you DO NOT use them upon fear of angering them and invoking their wrath.( I stated "Invoking their wrath" mainly because you might not get in trouble but they would most likely get mad at you and hunt you down....>_>;) -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello and welcome to the Net Navi Strategy Guide FAQ. If your reading this your probably want to get an idea or want to find out how to create a strategy with your net navi or are incredibly board. Ether way I hope this guide helps you with your needs. Ok lets get this started.
Q: What is a net navi strategy?
A:A net navi strategy is a combination of stats, attacks, effects and other things to accomplish a role that you want your navi to fill. The reason why I say this is that a navi's strategy can of course be used offensively but also defensively, support other navis, heal, make an opponent miserable with status effects, ect....
Q:Why do I need a Net Navi Strategy?
A: Well....why are you reading this guide? Ok ok....I'll answer this for real this time. Strategy is what wins battles not the Version(Level) or amount of attack power and this is a proven fact. Quickman's Navi Rikaru is an excellent example of this. At V2 Rikaru managed to beat Metalman(V7). Need I say more? Alright I will. Take a look at the top 12 navis. All of them got up there for a reason and that reason is that not only are they all V5 and higher but they have quite strong strategies. If you want any hope of beating them you ether have to have a stronger strategy then they do or have a twice as high or more version as they are. I hope you don't choose twice as high version.
Q:Could you give me some examples of good strong navi strategies?
A:Look at the navis on the Top 12 list. Namely the guy in the #1 spot. Also if you can find it look for a battle that has a character known as the "End Game".
Q:Could you give me some tips on creating a strategy?
A:Certainly this is where thing may get a bit complicated so I'm dividing this into multiple sections so that you may understand this better.
1:Creating a strategy. When creating a strategy it is wise to think of what your navi is going to be right now and also in the future version. You want to plan the abilities that it will have up to V5. Next you must think of a strategy. Normally people would be stuck at this part since attacks thus far have had a limited amount of abilities. So I'm going to list what I feel to be the most important parts of a strategy and why they are so important.
A:Custom Cards
This is what I feel to be the most powerful part of any navi and most likely the most powerful thing in this entire game. Even though a navi needs to be V5 to obtain this you should start thinking about what this will do to your navi and what sacrifices will you take for it. The reason why this is the most important part of your navi is that this is the MOST customizable part of your navi since you can add just about any ability that you can think of within reason. Say you don't like opponents that use moves that dodge every attack you throw at them with just one use of a speed move. You can make a card effect to counter it or hurt an opponent that uses it. Is there a rule that prevents you from using a certain strategy? Use this to negate it. Be creative here and you will be rewarded for your efforts.
B: Hyper Modes
You get your first Hyper Mode at V3 (V2 if your intel and V1 if your a Light element +50 Karma) These are slightly customizable but not as reliable as a Custom Card since they only last a set amount of turns. Never the less it boosts your power and that allow is good.
C:Elements
This is also quite useful in building your navi and are in essence the foundation of what your navi will and won't be able to do. Each element has a different ability and bonus that it can give your navi. Make the most of each one of the 3 slots you have when creating your navi.If you don't need 3 elements then take advantage of that fact and make a negative card effects that takes that element away. That way not only do you lose your "useless element" but you gain a positive effect in return. All take into consideration the different stage chips and their effects on different elements when choosing them.
D:Items
Well what you think your going to do with all that money you earned with battling? These will most certainly help you survive battles.(Namely Undershirt.) But would also boost other stats like the amount of attack you can do in 1 turn or the amount of defensive abilities you have. There is at no point where you can have to much money.....unless your Niall.
E:Attacks
This effects not only how much damage you do to your foe but exactly what you do to them. Though it may not look like it attacks are somewhat customizable. They can be used with other attack to create "combos" or inflict a status effect on you or your foe. But no matter the strategy it is always good to have at least 1 good attack with no cool down or charge just in case.
F:Type
This is not as useful as the other but still useful. The type you choose not only will determine what bonus your navi will get but also what kind of armor will it be able to equip. Both of which are helpful.
Using a combination of all these you can create a strong strategy. You don't have to use them all to your advantage but I would recommend it.
Q:Why can't I still think of a strategy?
A:Well try creating a regular navi and then battle with it. Get a feel of what the system is like and then find a way to beat it. Also don't get frustrated when you can't think of a super good strategy. No navi is invinable.
Q:Is this guide over yet?
A:Though this is the end of the guide there is a ton of stuff that I'd like to add to it so I will update it when I have the time.

You still prove my point that a bad strategy will get you killed.
