Knight stood silently as he saw his opposition approach him. Perhaps this guy could get a word out of him? ...Not likely. He simply stood there with his massive shield by his side. This fellow just looked like the kind that was urging for a fight, so Knight put a firm grip on his sword in preparation. Fate would determine who won the first strike...

RP PHASE:
Knight readied himself instantly for a strong assault. Just the mere looks of his opponent seemed threatening. The sword would do him no good -- no, instead, Knight grabbed his heaviest gun and blasted at the navi, replacing it on the shield only to fire an arrow from the massive, protective item that was the source of his weapons. He held the shield out infront of him immediately following the attacks. It'd be best to brace as soon as possible against this guuy.

DEFENSE PHASE:
Shield of Faith Passive, Shield Type Knight begins the battle with a 150 Hp Shield. As long as the Shield has HP, it can blocked attacks like a regular shield would. For every attack that the shield blocks, it loses Hp equal to the amount of damage the attack would have done. A gun was a weapon that no spartan was familiar with, but nonetheless, Spartan.EXE raised high his shield to block the shot. The arrow fired at him met the same fate. "It seems you would like to fight." Spartan.EXE smiled in excitement at the thought of battle. He took the arrow off of his shield and threw it back at Knight.EXE right after taking out his sword. "Tell me, warrior. What is your name?" Before Knight.EXE had the chance to respond, though, Spartan.EXE ran up to him and smashed him with his shield. Then punched him right before slicing him three times with his sword! "I would like to know it. Before one of us dies here today."

(( Umm, that's actually my second navi, Remnant. Not Knight. As for making the sprite... I don't really do stuff that often with sprites... but I'll see what I can do, I guess...))
RP PHASE:
Knight grinned at the comment from the other navi... Even mumbled under his breathe a response, but he doubt the other navi heard him.
" ... 'warrior'?"
This kind of broke his silent-period... but it wasn't that big of a deal. It's not like he never spoke or anything.
"Heh... you can call me that."
No use giving an enemy his real name. Besides, if one were to die here... Knight hoped it wouldn't be him.
Although, this opponent's attacks were formidably strong. Knight's shield was barely able to stand against them until he finally got a chance to strike back. He kept his distance with his twin handguns, but moved in a bit to throw the roped dagger, then just a little bit closer to swing his Battle Axe at Spartan, just so that he was in range. Hopefully, the strong Spartan would be hindered by the pain coming his way. Hopefully.

"You speak softly, warrior. why?" As before, Spartan.EXE's shield hid him from all of the attacks sent his way. And despite Knight.EXE's attempt to keep distance from him, Spartan.EXE still made use of the weapons he had by throwing his shield and spear in his direction. While the shield spun back to his arm, Spartan.EXE's spear teleported in a beam of light back onto his back. "Silence... is a sign of weakness!" Or a sign of self-control. But no spartan would second-guess his own logic. After his shield and spear came back, Spartan.EXE ran up to Knight.EXE to further pound on him with his close range skills.

Not one of Knight's attacks et their target. This was completely unheard of to him. He had the biggest shield around, and his enemy's shield was doing better than his own!

Knight ignored Spartan's comment. Silence and solitude were his defining traits -- hopefully by this battle, he could prove that they did not show weakness. Knight's Shield had already taken too much of a beating to be of any use against Spartan's most recent attacks. Knight would have to rely on his own reflexes to dodge as many attacks as possible, but by the end of it, Knight had no energy left to attack his opponent.
This was already turning out to be a rough match...

((You're pretty good for a beginner. This is just the kind of opponent Knight needs -- one that'll push him and make him stronger! lol, we need to get our navi into storymode after this battle. They'd make an interesting duo, imo ))
RP PHASE:
"..." Perhaps Spartan was right? This silence had brought him nothing to gain... but until now, it was all he knew. Silence. Serenity. It was the source of his focus and strength. Breaking that focus would only hinder him more in this battle -- but perhaps after this battle... he could look more into what Spartan was talking about.
Falling to his knees under the pressure of the attacks, Knight lowered his shield as Spartan came charging at him. Was this... the end? "... no" Not yet. The shield was nearly destroyed, but Knight's spirit was not. Head tilted down, Knight blindly avoided the devastating kick from Spartan while rising up to his feet -- causing the opponent to stumble over his own foot and giving Knight a chance to retaliate. This was just the chance he needed to turn the tide of this fight back around in his favor. Nothing would stop him now as he unleashed a flurry of blows to his enemy -- each destined to meet its mark.

RP PHASE:
Spartan.EXE missed the kick, but caught his footing before he fell into the hole. Shortly after, the hole disappeared anyway, and he turned around to block SOME of Knight.EXE's attacks, but some still got through. "You fight bravely! Let us see how much longer your defense holds up!" Spartan.EXE used the close gap between the two navis to his advantabe and displayed splended swordsmanship as he slashed away at Knight.EXE. There was no way he would walk away unharmed.

The flurry of slashes was quite brutal, but Knight made use of his shield for most of the slashes -- a few of them would inevitably strike him though. As Spartan finished, Knight unexpectedly threw his roped dagger around him to prevent him from moving, then took advantage of his debilitated state of being with a powerful swing of the BattleAxe that hung on his shield.

Being tied up wasn't very pleasant. Spartan.EXE was able to eventually break free, but not in time to avoid the powerful axe-swong. "Clever! You are a worthy opponent, warrior! But your shield will not remain intact forever!" Spartan.EXE's wounds were getting deeper, but he managed to show little to no signs of fatigue. Fighting was his passion. Pain was his pleasure. He continued fighting strongly -- if not stronger -- even though his defenses were wiped out.
DEFENSE PHASE:

RP PHASE:
Knight knew that if he persisted just a little more, the fight would end. It was risky, but in light of the near dismissal from battle, Knight allowed his shield to take each of the attacks and explode before him. He kept only his sword -- the rest were lost along with the shield. Being already close to Spartan, Knight made four deadly slashes to his enemy -- first horizontally across the chest, then diagonally down his shoulder to waist, thirdly a stab to the gut, and lastly a spinning slash at the neck. It was all over -- he hoped. But he had a feeling he'd be seeing this navi again, soon. It was... a good fight.

Spartan.EXE fell to his knees in defeat -- smiling though, that atlast he had found an opponent worthy of competition. His data faded away silently, and though it was his first defeat, he left the battle a proud warrior. "We'll be seeing each other again, friend. We both have much to learn from each other. Farewell... for now."

((Also, I'm kind of confused how this turned out... Spartan.EXE has more skill uses, more attacks per turn, and a MegaProgram equipped, whereas Knight.EXE just has alot of regeneration and slightly more Hp and Damage. He's a good navi... but I thought I would be able to put up a better fight than that. I noticed that you ended the battle at Max HP... do your advantages give you that much of a gain?! Very well fight, remnant. I'd like to learn some of what you know though, lol.))

(( You did it right, lol. Knight actually gets x1.5 exp/zenny though, since he's resource type. But that's my job to calculate, so you don't have to worry about it. Good fight!))

(( And honestly, I don't know much about this battle system at all, lol. I'm about as new to it as you are. But there are some things I noticed you did that I probably wouldn't... recommend. And these are just the things I noticed:
1: Order of attacks seems to matter alot. On the last turn, you used your highest damaging attack last, when it's damage was higher than my Shield's HP. That let me block the first two (whose combined damage was still lower than the shield), then sacrifice the shield to avoid the last and take no damage for the turn. If you would've used Sword of the Spartan FIRST, then I would've have been able to do only one of two things with the shield: A) block the first attack and take the rest B) block the second/third attack and take the first This would not have changed the outcome of battle, but I would've taken more damage and by taking these actions on multiple terms, this could potentially cost you a battle rather than just some attack slots.
2: Attack slots matter, so my "BattleAxe" and "Roped Dagger" combo (which gives me +1 and gives you -1) usually has the potential to change the flow of battle. Emulating those would be a good idea when you get the chance to make more attacks, infact, I think I'm allowed to give you an SE of each now, soo...

3: Skill uses are VERY important here. But you used your skills to block pointless attacks. While, yes, it stopped me from adding HP to my Shield for a while, it also made my future attacks definite hits since you ran out of skill uses. I suggest taking the weak attacks, and saving your numerous skill uses for high-damage attacks, or attacks with strong effects like the two above. Then make sure you use your strongest attack when you KNOW it will hit -- since "Signature Spartan Kick" has breaks shields and cuts auras, it's probably most effective when my shield is either destroyed, or in other cases when the opponent has no shield uses left. I recommend some sort of minor healing ability for Spartan, and another way to add attack slots.
Don't just take my advice though -- look around at some other fights. It's what I did, and it works pretty well. Spartan is a VERY powerful navi though, ya just gotta play it a little more strategic next time, lol. If the tide of battle didn't change at about Round3, you probably would've had this match. You did quite well for your first time though -- this is my third, lol.))
