Knight spotted a female vampire navi from a few hundred yards away. He'd heard about her before... "Amethyst". It was likely she had already detected his presence in the area, so there was no sense in trying to run or go about unseen. There was no peace to be made with a vampire -- in Knight's opinion, the world was better off without them. After all, the male vampires always steal the ladies' hearts -- that's just more competition that Knight didn't need. As for female vampires... Well, they've never done him any good.
No doubt she craved his blood more than anything else. Knight dashed toward her, pulling out two handguns to fire down on her as he made his approach, then when he was close enough, he drew his sword for a quick slash.

DEFENSE:

Amethyst flew into a strange, unknown area, a habit she was prone to do, and morphed into her humane form. She kept a steady pace as she traversed the area with no known goals or destinatons. She then caught something in the corner of her eye and turned. It was another navi. Advancing towards it, she called out in a soothing voice, "Why hello, how are you? My name's Amethyst." However, the other navi made no noise or indication that he heard her until he advanced towards her. Cocking her eyebrow up, she was about to ask what he was doing when he lashed out at her. Angered by this, she struck back.

Knight gave no response to Amethyst's introduction, but continued his approach. His shots failed to meet their target, but luckily his sword strike made it through. Before he had the chance to continue attacking, though, the vampire's ear-piercing scream got to him, almost confusing him enough to stop him from blocking the next attack. He regained focus, though, just soon enough to leap out of the way of her quick dashing-attack. This was not going to be an easy fight.
