((NOTE: This could go either way depending on some rules I'm not clear on. Firstly, we need a ruling on whether attacks nullified by DarkSoul are considered "hits" or not, for your regen. If they are, you enter DarkSoul after the Toxic element damage, and win when my DarkSoul times out next turn before I can do anything. If not, I might win. But that's only if unavoidable damage - like the toxic elemental damage - affects people in DarkSoul. The way I've always played it, and what Billy says, is that unavoidable damage like that pierces DarkSoul. But Genesis says he doesn't think it does. So we should ask Raven. If attacks nullified by DarkSoul don't count as hits, AND unavoidable damage does pierce DarkSouls, then I've done the math and I win. If either of those isn't true, you win. So looks like we need to wait for a ruling! Either way, it's been a great match.))

Allright, here's the deal:
Attacks that are nulled by DS do indeed count as hits, but the DMG is 0 and all effects are removed. That's why Break can loophole it and deal damage in spite of DS.
Unavoidables dealing damage to DS is another story.... some staff members have said yes, others no. My personal take is that it DOES deal damage, as the dmg from unavoidable ignores damage-reduction, but I'm not going to enforce it yet. I'll speak with the staff after everyone is up to speed and then make an official ruling.
