Anthem watched further on, taking damage from the attack; although he seemed to not even react as he did. It was a friendly battle in the sense that there was no life or honour at stake. Glassman was his ally in-combat against Void and Iria, after all.

Of course, Anthem did have a reason for not reacting much to the damage. Its magnitude was just barely out of his 'range,' and surely enough most of the damages seemed to mend themselves.

However, allies or not, they were pitted against each other. For both his own training and respect of his opponent as an equal, Anthem refused to hold back. Glassman was hit by all of the attacks and was forced back from the assault. Smoke seemed to come from off of him as his systems resisted a portion of the damage that made contact.
"Seems you're as strong as before...that makes things much more interesting!" Glassman said,gathering energy into both arms. Both arms then shifted into the appearance of vulcans and he shot six quick rounds at Anthem.
He then walked toward Anthem slowly,only to become a blur and reappear behind him,throwing a kick at him and jumping away.

Anthem felt the shots of the vulcans, and while ordinarily he would have been hurt as laser-like attacks were striking him; though his own defensive systems managed to defend him well against the shots.
(( I have 20 ARMOUR, therefore the Energy Vulcan attack did no damage - even Elemental Weakness factored in. ))

However, the kick knocked Anthem back a bit, though he managed to retain his balance. It was evident that Glassman's blows were still strong even with Anthem's defensive abilities, breaking the threshold of Anthem's ability to regenerate his own vitality.
